I'm doing new DAO playthrough. I have many ass!Wardens already so now it's time for flirt!Warden I plan to bed as many characters as possible and pick all flirt options. Ideal outcome would be old god baby with Morrigan, potical marriage with Anora and Zevran as mistress.. mister?

 

Too bad I had to roll another Cousland for this since I have 2 already ^^;

Zevran as his cicisbeo!  (Especially appropriate because Antiva = more or less = Italy!)

 

And Couslands are awesome.  Not my favorite origin story (City Elf/Casteless Dwarf all the way), but definitely my favorite to play the entire game through as.  It just seems like a Cousland Warden has more invested in the blight/fight against Loghain.

 

On a semi-separate note, I wonder which of the DAI origins will provide the most personal investment in the story?

I'm actually so glad that dialogue tones and moods are clearly marked unless you turn them off. Can you imagine if they weren't, and you missed most or all of the flirt options, and then one day when you get back to Skyhold you find out your preferred LI has hooked up with someone else? That'd be such a slap in the face.

Heyss you all people. I've decided to de-lurk for the newest livestream made me forget whatever doubts I had for romancing Cullen. Also, can't stahp staring at those Cullen-gifs which followed the livestream vid. I wants November already D:

 

(Btw, am I the only one who thinks that Cullen in DAI looks way more Origins-Alistair than Origins-Cullen?)

Here's a question for you all. Imagine that you're already in a romance with Cullen. Say you've gone out on a really dangerous mission, you barely made it out. When you get back to base, does Cullen rush up to you and sweep you into his arms, murmuring thank the maker that you're all right, or does he stand behind the table and wait to greet you, not wanting to lose his cool when he's supposed to be dutiful and set an example for others that fall under his command?

 

Cullen will probaply look relieved but stay composed and professional. Later when they are more private he might sweep quizzy in his arms ^^ Which Milica will probaply answer with getting all tsundere:

Tristan is a lovely name...just think though, Varric would be extolling the tragic romance of Tristan and Iseult all through the game....ROFL.

 

Yes, female warrior and Templar on my first playthrough....hopefully with Cullen romance if I get the cues right. I'm already imagining Varric and Leliana debating if they are going to have a tragic or epic romance on their hands...remember how Varric forshadowed Anders ending of tragic hero.

 

I really hope that DG did not write any of Cullens story arc....and I am believing in Greg Ellis when he says the romance is awesome and that we will love it!

Probably human again, as the game was originally written with a human Inquisitor in mind. We only got the other playable races in the extra year extension. As long as we're dealing with either Chantry business or human politics, humans will always feel like the most personally invested race.

 

I'd love for the next game to pull a twist on us and focus on an elven revolution, with both city and Dalish elves rising up for their rights, for instance, so an elven protagonist would make the most sense of all, but... not counting on it.

I think in some senses, the mage, and perhaps even more so the human mage, will have more at stake, particularly within the Mage/Templar War arc of the game. Plus, the game as a whole is about the Fade, the Veil, and magic, so in that regard, you could mage is more intrinsically tied.

Well I think it would depend on how badly you were hurt etc.

 

Typical armour dints, blood and a small limp....not much exterior reaction until you were alone. Professional.

Bleeding out and barely able to get off your horse, I suspect an angry kitty carrying you inside and growling at the companions as he walks. 

Assassins/Big bad try to kill you in Skyhold, blood everywhere...and they'll be taking a shield to the face before they die horribly. 

 

I mean we know that he can get angry, and anger is just a form of passion, so yes, I expect that Cullen will be more emotional open/ doesn't care what others think ,the worse the injury the quizzy has. Well that's how I write it.

Hey, welcome!  Cullen gifs have consumed my brain too.

 

As for Cullen's DA:I appearance, I think he shares a lot of his coloration with DA:O Alistair--lighter skin, fluffy blonde hair.  Their overall head shapes are kind of similar, but their facial structures are pretty different.  Cullen has better cheekbones for a start

I think, after the twitch stream and the new trailer, I know who my first romance and play through is going to be. Because I keep dreaming about Cullen. So it's a sign, it's gotta be Cullen. I have a feeling that Cullen is going to be my Alistair. I try to romance someone else, but always end up going back to Alistair.

 

That's a good idea, and I approve And I may do the same. So since I dreamed about showing up at the Cullen Class Reunion with Iron Bull, well, Iron Bull it is  

 

I think we are all a little stressed about the CC; in the other dream I had, I remember wandering around in a room, and suddenly there were tons and tons of people all wandering as well, and it turns out we were all looking for the CC

Agreed, but I have this funny feeling that being an elf will be important, too. What with the events of the last book coming into play (possibly) and all.
