Yep. I hope they are bringing the thread back and just delete it. Lot of work has been put on that thread.. OP posts and page celebrations.

I can't get on to the DA2 thread so I'll be staying around here. Thousands of pages of art and stories and fun wiped out over a single picture. What an overreaction. Not impressed at all

A question for those who saw the twitch stream (video above posted by Boom ): Am I the only one who thought that Cullen's suggestion over what to do with Clan Lavellan had an implied threat in it? 'Make it clear the Inquisition should be taken seriously'. was the phrase used. Doesn't it seem a little aggressive when all Clan Lavellan did was ask after their kin?

 

Or am I misreading this?

Companions and advisors teasing and pulling pranks on Cullen.

 

Dorian pulling magic tricks on Cullen. Cullen getting flustered cause he haven’t seen magic being used so casually and creatively before.

 

Iron Bull slamming Cullen’s back when he’s immersed in his battle plans. Cullen jumping startedly and Iron Bull laughting heartily.

 

Sera making inappriate jokes around Cullen and snorting smugly when Cullen’s face starts turning red.

 

Cullen wondering where his quill disappeared when he turned his back for a minute. Cole grinning while watching ex-templar crouching under his writing desk.

 

Blackwall challenging Cullen into drinking contest. Cullen having to cancel training of military recruits on the next day.

 

Varric persuading Cullen to participate in the strip poker. Varric cheating with tricks he learned from Isabela and half-naked Cullen wondering if he’s really that bad in the poker.

 

Leliana and Josephine grouping up to tease Cullen of his relationship with the Inquisitor. Them giving Cullen unwanted love advices that he ends up using in the end.

 

Cassandra tripping Cullen during the sword duel to teach him that there is no rules when it becomes battles, to survive you need sometimes play dirty.

 

 

It's missing Vivienne's and Solas' though ^^;

Yeah, I do think it was a bit of an over-reaction. It wasn't done by Allan or anyone like that and I'm sure they will sort it out for us when they have the time. The poster was a random as well, not an active member on the thread and they were asked by cullenites to delete the picture so the posting of it wasn't at all endorsed by the thread. It's a real shame because so much work has gone into that thread - I hope we get it back in one piece.

Allan tweeted that he'll look into the issue tomorrow so it wasn't him then. I guess someone from other mods

I would go so far as to call it a non-veiled threat.

Hmmm, I didn't take much notice of what he was saying, or more so the tone he was speaking in (my mind was otherwise engaged) but it is very early on in the game and I think Cullen will still have some growing to do, so that could explain why he maybe sounded a little aggressive and it will be a change we will see in him as the game progresses?

He wasn't talking, it was on his card. It's hard to tell the tone intended, but the whole 'make sure we're taken seriously' seems out of place. I wonder what happens with the other backgrounds...

What do you think, how the other characters react to Cullen/Inquisitor romance?

Josephine and Leliana, for example - do they consider this ''unfair'' (as the military forces will have an advantage) or it will be the other way round, maybe it will strenghten the Inquisition?

And what about the IQ followers and their party banters?

 

These questions were haunting me for a while; i've been trying to answer them by myself, yet I'm curious what other Cullen fans think.

I think Varric will probably bring the Inquisitor up with it   . I can't see why Leliana or Josephie would be against the romance. Leliane isn't exactly followig the rules anyway and I don't believe Josie would mind.

It did seem quite threatening, but I'm wondering if it's been done to show the implications of a martial response, rather than as a personal opinion. Anyone considering sending their general over a missing persons inquiry should be aware that it's quite a hostile action but text is often used to make sure. I'm a little concerned that a lot of Cullen's text will read like the 'direct' text option simply to illustrate the consequences.
The game itself will hopefully give a more nuanced aspect to each of our advisors which may change a lot of opinions.
