I think it has to do with some people seeing cullenites as rabid fangirls, I don´t see it though you guys always seemed like a cool and friendly bunch of people

 

My dislike for Cullen comes from other reasons. It never had anything to do with the fans themselves....Granted I do partly blame them for his continued existence in the sequels...but that is just me.

it also proves me correct that straight females or females are generally mocked and despised in gaming communities.

by the way, what happens to women in gaming industry today, makes me even more concerned about my future, because my gender might turn out to be a huge obstacle on the path of getting my dreamed job one day ;/

 

i hope now that everything will be ok and we'll get our original thread back ;n; in the meantime i'll go back to being sad panda and drawing fluffy cullen .__.

Or friendship with him. I'm still not entirely certain I'm going to romance him in my first few PTs. But he's still the NPC I most look forward to talking to and finding out how he's changed, etc.

 

And keep in mind that there are likely to be a few people who come in and try to rub salt in the wound to try to get a reaction because they either like drama or have nothing better to do. Ignore is a wonderful feature.

Things are changing. It's slow, but it's changing...so take heart. We need passionate people like you to push through those barriers.

it's not about not liking cullen. it's about people being rude and downright viscous to his fanbase for liking a character. which sadly happens a lot.

Meh im getting stressy, you see i might've reported the offending spoiler poster yesterday (well no might've, i totally did). I figured it would be the quickest way to get rid of said offending post (and the quotes of it), i didnt know who to ask on twitter to remove it and i just didnt want anyone to be spoiled who didnt wish to be spoiled. I feel terrible if they closed the thread because of that.

No you did just as you ought. I just read through the posts from last night. It was just the one (reposted) image and folks telling him(?) to remove it. Far less offensive than problems we've had in the past. A far cry from pages of spoilery discussion.

Here's mine (yet again), with the promise, that if you like it, I will write a whole chapter (a very small chapter  ), to cheer your spirits. It's best that we move on from this discussion, as it is getting into dangerous territory for our well being.

 

The templar turned Commander was stressed, as usual, the little furrow between his brows slowly etching itself deeper as he pored over recent acquisitions. "We don't have nearly enough supplies for our soldiers," he announced, pivoting to face his new company. Pity, I was enjoying the view, thought the Inquisitor, slowly walking towards the war table and bending over it. "We'll make do... what's more important is that you relax more. You're going to destroy that scroll you're holding if you continue." The Commander was almost too quick to reply with a brusque snort. "And how do you propose that?" He asked, his temper fraying. "Do you think chatting about it will suddenly make supplies appear? Do you think chatting will 'calm me down'?" The Inquisitor, however, had better ideas. Slowly walking behind the Commander, the savvy leader began to knead the man's shoulders with force built from years of sparring..........

 

Note: I feel that I am soooo bad at this... Also, for what little there is, I made the Inquisitor gender neutral. I know she's canonically female, but... well. No excuses. Reviews are more than welcome.

I'm not no. I've only ever given Cullen any attention when I have questions about his character. I dislike him, but I still for the foreseeable future have to put up with him, thus keeping informed is wise. You have my sympathies if the fans themselves are being attacked. Which is just silly in all honesty.
