Please don't assume things as fact. Neither does the GW in that scene.

I think everyone's entitled to assume what they want, but indeed no one has confirmed his companion status one way or another. There are 12 people in the pic, besides the Inquisitor. So interpretation is open as to who the additional three are. Nevertheless, there are only three characters without weapons. Interpret it as you wish. [edited to add: The GW is holding a giant two handed sword in front him in the War Table picture]

Not in the scene you all are referring to. Therefore, that doesn't speak to me about Cullen.

Yes, in both scenes the Grey Warden has a sword. But it is fair that Cullen has not been confirmed as an NPC. That said, for the sake of my own sanity, I am choosing to believe that's what's implied by the image. If it turns out I'm wrong, then that's great.   I'm just glad to have firm evidence.

We've already seen her mentioned in the demo, tho. Would be nice to see her in person.

Regardless of Cullen's status (I doubt he was after PAX), I really like that last Shot and the phrase that the PC said. It was by far my favourite moment of the trailer (and I loved the trailer).
I really how the war table is used often in the game for meetings and debriefings.

I know! LIke someone mentioned the treestump under the table, the original shots from Fires Above, and the lighting really suggests some secret, possibly underground lair where they do their plotting.
