I really, really like Cullen/Hawke. Especially sassy Hawke. But everything's better with sassy Hawke.

Aaaand I just realized I'm going to miss the stream. I get out of work right when the stream starts but I won't make it home in time... sigh. I guess I won't be missing much, especially not the chat. Ick.  <_<

Personally, I want to hear some Blackwall. Just get a sense of the guy.

Um, speaking of Blackwall... I was in that thread earlier this morning and they have a link to a really interesting NSFW picture. Of course, I was at work, so I looked at it anyway! :D

Um, but yeah. It's an eye-opener. A big one.

It should work fine on 64 bit, they've just dropped 32 support.

It's funny because if all of my recent gameplays I've been trying to make 'wrong' decisions leave the world state as awful as possible, just to see new reactions and whatnot. Idk how ANYONE could choose to not save Connor, I cried a lot when my Warden just straight up killed Connor, that poor kid. o^o

Uh huh, I prefer killing Connor from other options, it's most straightforward and safest way anyways and the boy has killed almost whole village for making deals with demons ^^;

I find letting demon to continue possessing Connor to be worst choice or getting Isolde to kill him.

He just wanted to save his dad... and he was a kid, he didn't know the consequences of making the deal. I figure getting the mages' support in Broken Circle was the best option, since it's better than killing a kid or doing blood magic... I trusted Jowan about 0%. Plus I don't have to deal with Isolde screaming at me. That stressed me out.

Oh no, I could not let Isolde kill Connor. Too much.  :(

Anyways, slightly off topic?  :P

I guess but it's has been ok to be sometimes off-topic ^^; Hopefully today's stream gives us some on-topic to discuss.

Well since I usually annul the circle (well not in my decent playthrough) since it has taken me something 300+ hours of DAO to figure out how to use litany... yay, me... so usually that's not option for me.

Sacrificing someone else, although I hate Isolde, in blood ritual doesn't seem very good choice either so I just prefer kill the possessed person. Just unfortunate consequence of child's foolishness. I blame Isolde and Jowan though too, I guess Jowan wouldn't have been very good enchanter when his first student turned to demons almost as soon he started to tutor him :P

Oh wow. I remember I did one play through where I knocked out Isolde and killed Connor myself. I couldn't live with myself after doing it. I had to reload and go to the Circle for help on that one.

Too bad real life doesn't have a reload option. I would have reloaded so many times by now.

Sadly, FWIW, it was Win 7 64bit. And the crashing was the SUCK! Perhaps I should also mention that it was my first time with mods, but I was sufficiently annoyed that I stripped them all out and reinstalled and it still crashed during graphics intensive scenes. I gave up shortly thereafter.

Oh, well, it was a thought. We've run multiple diagnostics on my system and eliminated any other problems, and my hardware is almost the same as my daughter's, so we narrowed it down to 32 bit. Mine only crashes out of game back to desktop, though.

LOL! I take chocolate, cookies, and personal checks.

Naw... just kidding. I may continue it. I actually had another new idea for 30 Days of DA prompt, "Pretend to be Varric, and tell a short story." :D We'll see.

That could be fun too! Though anything with Varric telling it would have to be a tall tale version of an event.

I dislike the option to involve the Circle. There's just no downside, and I think the writers have also expressed regret at putting that choice in so I just headcanon that the choice simply isn't available, that going to the Circle, sorting out their problems and bringing them back to Redcliffe would just cause more destruction, etc.

So I personally sacrifice Isolde, even if I actually like and enjoy her character. But to make it slightly more on topic, the Inquisitor I will be romancing Cullen with would just kill the abomination and be done with it.

Haha, the first time I ever played I reloaded to go to the Circle as well. I was too lazy to go and decided to kill Connor but immediately regretted that. I had kicked Jowan out so that wasn't an option.

I think my Inquisitor will be a bit less emotional this time. :P

I think I'm going to skip the stream. I have yet to be spoiled on Skyhold (skipped the last video, too) and since I'm not interested in either of my two romance choices, I don't really care about hearing from any of the followers anymore. Not that I don't care about the followers -- I'm just not foaming at the mouth for any tidbit of info the way I would be if I could have Cullen, Blackwall, or Solas lol

I'm about to finish up my ME run, and it occurred to me that the moments that wrung the most emotion out of me were the friendships that Shepard formed. The love scene with Kaidan was aww-worthy, but I didn't feel any particular emotional attachment. Which makes me want to go into DAI with renewed anticipation, ready to forge some amazing friendships with these people :)

My first Warden (Dalish) killed Conor without a second thought. The kid was possessed by a demon *shrug* And my first inquisitor is going to be very similar to him (kind of like the character I wanted to create but couldn't really due to DAO CC and gameplay restrictions).

On a personal note, I love cats far more than children, so killing "Kitty" was actually harder for me

Skyhold is what I'm looking forward to most, can't miss out on getting a bit of tour. I think this'll be the last time I indulge, and then I'm done. :)

R2, consider yourself showered will chocolate cookies (well, maybe cookie shaped confetti for showering, I wouldn't want to actually hurt you with cookies lol), that fic was great. I hate it that your stories always leave me wanting to read more, my one and only criticism, they are too short :D I enjoy all of your stories when you write about the gradual build up of Hawke/Inq & Cullens relationship I find them slow enough to build on but enough pace that I can totally see the direction it's going, love the anticipation!

I stuck my head into that thread, thought of a response, decided against it and retreated to safety lol

I killed Connor once in a very early playthrough, it wasn't deliberate, I'm sure I just started wandering the castle and came upon him and it just sort of happened...woopsie :(. Apart from that time, my wardens always seem to risk the many to save the few, doesn't sound so good when I write it like that but that's how they roll lol.

I started another DA2 run, still female mage Hawke but she is a redhead this time, started off picking a lot of the direct dialogues, thought I was doing great, seems somewhere along the way she has slipped back into snark Hawke though, I must have used the humour tag too often and its over-ridden the direct. Oh well, I'm back into my comfort zone I suppose lol. Flirted with both Anders and Fenris, all set for the first time to actually complete an Anders romance...I failed, Fenris it is again :D

Cullen has been hearing some things about my Hawke though...I wonder who is telling him and if he is perhaps asking after her...that would be cute :)

Before when I played Origins the first time, I didn't have any kids of my own, and it didn't really affect me. But after I had my first child (and now I have two), things that involve mother and child, like Isolde with Connor, strike me on a completely different nerve, now. I absolutely cannot kill Connor. I can let Isolde sacrifice herself to save him, but when I put myself in her shoes, and consider it, "What if it was my little RJ, or my little Ethan who was possessed, could I kill him?" Oh HELL no. And so I cannot take Isolde's child away from her, as one mother to another mother.

I hope it's as big as they're letting on. We'll probably have very limited access at first since it'll be in ruins so it will be 1000 times for satisfying to check out the final product. :)

That makes sense ^^ But me killing Connor is probably related to why I have no interest in being a parent and never will be. I'm not fond of children and don't have that nurturing gene. But also consider that in my second playthrough Ren Tabris saved both Isolde and Connor :) (Though I agree with PC that that shouldn't have been an option.) And via the Keep I'm going to have a Warden who kills Isolde.
