I'm still not fond of or used to Cullen's upturned nose (which I thought had been toned down a little judging by the video from last week, but I guess it must be a camera angle / facial expression thing), but the two most attractive men of the Inquisition are looking good in that picture! I really like Dorian's hairstyle because the fade gives it a way around the abrupt hairline problem that the other male hairstyles seem to have. And I've said it before but I'll say it again: goddamn I love all the high-collared mage and rogue armor in this game. I've got to find a jacket like that IRL.

For some reason, it bugs the hell out of me when my MC has the exact same hair as a companion or NPC. Bugs me less with NPCs because you see them less, but companions...
I was frustrated when my Warden had the same hair as Leliana in one playthrough. The people of Thedas don't seem very imaginative with hairstyles.
It ticked me off that I couldn't have Morrigan's hairstyle, but Velanna could. And then the elves in DA2 could also have it.

Here's a particularly cool shot of Cullen and Dorian from Dragon Age: Inquisition I came across # DAI
Hnnnnnnnnnnnggnnnnnnnn this pains me physically. It-it's so BEAUTIFUL. ![]()
This makes my male and female Trevelyan siblings happy in their special places, hohohoho. But it's also kinda tragic when I think that only one of the two can find their love story at a time - in the universe where Ariana Trevelyan lives, Dorian never finds his soulmate; in the universe where Andrés Trevelyan lives, Cullen is forever alone. Sigh, it kills me that both my faves can't get their happy ending at the same time.
(can't concentrate on being sad, though. too much hot in one picture, brain no worky.)

Whenever I see Dorian, I try to imagine how his romance scene will go, and I end up thinking about Heath and Jake... And "Frostback Mountain" comes to mind.
LOL I wish!! Oh, Heath... ![]()
Dorian doesn't strike me as passionate, romantic, and repressed though. Yeah I'm not getting sexually repressed cowboy from him lol He seems carefree, dashing, and jovial.
EDIT: He really makes me think of the main character from The Princess Bride.

LOL! I take chocolate, cookies, and personal checks.
Naw... just kidding. I may continue it. I actually had another new idea for 30 Days of DA prompt, "Pretend to be Varric, and tell a short story."
We'll see.
"A-a-hem, excuse us one moment..." *puts hand over mic and whispers to R2* "As your Official™ beta and book tour manager, I need to advise against the acceptance of personal checks"
Thumbs up on the Pretend to be Varric short! That would be a hoot!

I'm fine with two medium hairstyles for my elf. The quality doesn't bother me much because I'm playing on 360. I hope They managed to reach 360 version of TW2.
Though I hope that the more They got used to Frostbite They improve their hair quality-wise.
Yeah there are some "okay" hairstyles, I mean, I'm not banging my head into the screen or anything xD It is sad that an older game like Dragon's Dogma still has better options than something like DAI though. But it is what it is.

I don´t know, I definitely get the "passionate" vibe from him, and I do think he has a more serious side to him ![]()

two girls and two boys, so all four LIs could meet their soulmates
Shockingly never got around to writing that ![]()

Well, from what I saw DD has one of the best CC overall, maybe the best on console.Yeah there are some "okay" hairstyles, I mean, I'm not banging my head into the screen or anything xD It is sad that an older game like Dragon's Dogma still has better options than something like DAI though. Speaking of DD, how was it graphics-wise compared to DA and ME?

That would be cool; it's really hard to tell much about the newer folks' personalities at this point.

Mehhh. The landscape is not going to blow you away the way or anything, and everyone is kind of... fuzzy. That said, the movement is awesome... the enemy creatures move quickly and so does your character, flipping and jumping and diving and climbing onto beasties.

I wonder if Cullen were a brunette, would his hair look less Ken doll-ish? Is it just that particular shade of blond? Dorian's hair looks fantastic.

I do have a headcanon where all four Hawke kids survive and Varric is just BS-ing his way around the story to protect their identities with various "deaths" depending on who he's telling the tale of the Champion to, because I can't stand the thought of leaving Fenris alone on my fHawke playthrough, or leaving Sebastian alone on my mHawke playthrough - or having to choose between Grey Warden Carver and Circle Bethany. I just love them all too much.
Knowing myself (I have a "both my male and female Couslands survive" headcanon for DAO too because choosing between Zevran and Alistair is lol no), I'll probably end up with a headcanon like that for Inquisition again. Oooh Varric and Leliana were just lying when they told the story of the Inquisitor, in actual trufax of real truthiness, there were two Trevelyans saving the world! And they both lived happily every with their boos, because damn, look at these two.

Wow what a pair of babes. ![]()

Seeing as I become overheated every time I see a new pic of Cullen, I am afraid I may spontaneously combust during the game romance scene. I hereby bequeath all my personal items to the Cullenites in the event that this occurs.
We have beeen assured that there are plenty of 'woo' opportunities, if of course you play your cards right...still not sure how the new romance thing works. Do we get flirt prompts DA2 style, or hidden like/dislike bars and flirt only available after you reach critical mass.

Dorian does look really awesome in this pic; if I could mod him I'd only turn the mustache into a 5 o'clock shadow (like Cullen) and I would even keep the fade, not that I like it, but it just rendered so damn WELL!

I'm eager to see Cullen's interaction and opinion on our mage companions. Will he like them, dislike them or grow to like them or be wary all the game?
We have ambitious Pro-Circle mage who has hidden agenda, reformer mage from Tevinter that uses almost forbidden magics and apostate mage who likes spirits and visiting fade and has been avoiding templars for ages.
I think none of them is "ideal mage" in Cullen's mind which probaply mage who likes being in Circle, knows dangers of magic and is cautious on their use of magic ^^; Maybe something close to Bethany? Well only my opinion though.
