Yeah, I actually stopped my replay of DA2 because after a couple of playthroughs, listening to everyone snipping at each other becomes exhausting.  Especially Anders, since he's just awful at the drop of a hat.  

 

I suspect that having a giant green hole in the sky helps maintain perspective.  What's Garrus's line?  "A painful and imminent death has a way of motivating people" or somesuch.

That only happens if you select a particular dialogue option.  Otherwise they form a grudging but genuine respect by Citadel.

Dorian, while not the typical Tevinter, is still probably against the Circle system of the southern Thedas, and probably supports mages on power. It's not exactly the view of pro-Circle/Chantry mages.
 

I was rather surprised to see Cullen being so friendly with Dorian. That, I didn't expect.

I kind of was. Though I didn't see last week stream as a sign of him being anti-mage either.

I disagree, but whatever. Both were great characters and I liked the grudging respect they had for each other in ME3.

It's just that.. "mages can't be our friends" and "mages aren't people like you and me" Cullen is there no more. I'm so happy! Cullen has seen the light!

 

That's subtle, genuine character development. This is the main reason why I like Cullen.

There's a letter in the gameplay that was just shown that says the elder one destroyed the Haven Chantry where the Inquisition was first stationed. I don't think he actually destroys Skyhold.

 

I'll see if I can find the time mark for the letter. Edit: It's at 51:10.
