There's a letter in the gameplay that was just shown that says the elder one destroyed the Haven Chantry where th
e Inquisition was first stationed. I don't think he actually destroys Skyhold.

You know, I want to focus on Dorian's scandalous sideboob here, but I keep being distracted by The Hunchback of Skyhold. News from the chiropractor: Cullen still has terrible posture.

 

I have the opposite problem.  The scene started playing, and my train of thought crashed and burned when I saw Dorian.  It's ok, though.  Cullen can grab my attention without resorting to sideboob...just not while Dorian's also there

Same here. After just a couple of DA2 playthroughs, I found all of the arguing and negativity exhausting.

Yeah, I actually stopped my replay of DA2 because after a couple of playthroughs, listening to everyone snipping at each other becomes exhausting.  Especially Anders, since he's just awful at the drop of a hat.  

 

 

They may not agree with a lot of things, but when things go bad. The DA2 companions are there to help each other.

Inquisitor: How did we come to this state, with the Circles in revolt?

 

Vivienne: You, my dear, are far too wise to have not realized that many of our colleagues live with their eyes closed. Safe inside their towers, they only thought of the Templars and their own resentment. Kirkwall gave the world a reason to remember its fear of magic. A mage killed hundreds with a snap of their fingers. Across Thedas, a new tangible fear of magic grew. Commoners and nobles alike called out to the Chantry for protection. But the malcontents in the towers thought nothing of this. They cared only for themselves and their anger at the new Templar restrictions. When a mage attempted to assassinate Divine Justinia, again, the mages protested the investigation. The leadership chose to vote on independence based on the intolerable conditions imposed by the Templars, sparing no thought to the fact that magic was more feared in the aftermath of these attacks than it had been since Tevinter's day. So long as they have their freedom, they could care little for riots or angry mobs or pitting mages against each other.

Ah my two boyfriends. WHY ARE THEY SO GOOD-LOOKING? IT'S RIDICULOUS! I know people keep saying that the faces aren't 'pretty' anymore thanks to them having character (and they do have character, oodles of it), but...ugh... between Cass, and Josie and Dorian and Cullen and Blackwall and Leliana and Vivienne and Sera. The only one's who I find not-pretty (though by no means ugly) are Solas, Iron Bull and Cole. I feel like I walked into a super model convention.

 

And let me just say how great it is for Dorian's hair to look less like oily pieces of string on the sides. These may not be the most perfect renderings on Earth, but they are pretty damn good BioWare wise.

Merrill is someone I only take around with Varric and Isabela, at best Aveline because they're pretty neutral towards each other. Sebastian I can bring around with Fenris and Aveline for an easy friendly walk, or Isabela for maximum lols, but not Varric, because Varric inexplicably becomes a dick when you have Sebastian in the party. Fenris can be taken around with pretty much anyone and will be a perfectly nice person to have around, except when paired with Merrill and Anders. Once you find those sweet spots, you never have to hear any negativity anymore.

 

Anders is the exception. I swear, he brings negativity with any combination of people. He sours everyone's moods, even Isabela isn't fun around him. After enough of this constant arguing started by him, I just stopped taking Anders in my party altogether. It's amazing how much more positive your experience of the game is overall when Anders is not bringing your mood down every second of it.
