Hey guys just saw the video and the website SOOO AWESOME Cullen looks diffrent tho.. maybe a bit younger? I would have expected him to look a bit older then anything.. and looks like he now has some "puffy" cheeks? Hmm I guess I need to change my Cullen model a bit...
Even though it seems like there's three options (or more?), I still hope all the LIs don't give a damn about gender. I can't help but feel shafting the likely gay/bi LIs off to NPCdome seems like a step backwards as opposed to having companions that can be romanced by anyone.
Well, if there are NPC romances in this game, that means there's more options, both in the companions and the NPCs, right? So if Cullen is an NPC romance, then maybe Solas and Grey Warden, possibly Varric and Iron Bull are also romances (Because ME2 and 3 had a lot of romantic options, I thought, and maybe DA is following suit).
well, ME3 only had Kaidan for me. If I managed not to shoot him somehow....or I let Ash die.

I hope so too, since we know we can romance Cullen and he seems to very likely to be an NPC, it would kinda suck for female Inquisitors to be only be able to drag around one male LI. Er, I'm assuming females can romance Cullen. I'm pretty sure they will be able to.
If he is an NPC, I hope he has at least one personal quest we can drag him around during. Same with Scribbles, she looks like she can kick some major ass without breaking a nail.

It's equally possible that if they have 6 LIs and they're going with 2 gay/2 bi/2 straight, it's the straight LIs who are NPCs...
That would make a lot of waves, but it would be worth it to see the wrath of those who froth at the mouth when a gay or lesbian character hits on them. And Cullen has a history of attraction to women. That doesn't rule out the possibility that he is also attracted to men, though, so he could be bi.

I'm not trying to be happy, I am happy. To pass judgement on NPC romances done by a totally different game, with different writers and a different team, is a bit hasty, as is judging a character based solely on his small appearance in one screenshot.

The lighting in that shot was terrible, so I'm thinking we may have to wait a while to see how he looks in game. But we did say that we'd take him no matter what he looks like.
But yeah, I'm really hoping that the NPC romances (if they are indeed NPC romances) are a lot more fleshed out than the ME3 ones. I know that some people here love Sebastian's romance in DA2, but it really did feel less than the others. But gotta keep positive. For all we know, they're making the NPC base dialogues even better than the follower base dialogues because they won't be able to make comments in the field, as it were.
Back on the appearance thing, is it just me, or does anybody else think that Varric is starting to look like John Travolta?
And the Last Supper thing... take a look at the character who looks as if he's leaning on his elbow. Don't be wax fruit, Varric. My heart couldn't take it.
