I know that this probably isn't an option, but I wish there was a way to choose between actually trying to cheat, and silly cheating where you're trying to get caught, because I think that would open some fun dialogue

 

Chose the family option, then honest play or flirt. He values honesty above deceit....even if you lose.

Having looked at the feed a bit more closely, I think Cullen's scar is from being clawed by something - it's 2 thin lines, not the one line you'd get with a weapon (unless the swordsman was extremely good!).  Maybe the lion whose mane is attached to his pauldrons??

Ok...but only after I play the scene in game, that's fair ? Admits to 13 chapters that need editing to fit with canon DAI and this can fit in...it will be M rated though, can post on fanfiction or Archive of Our Own....or both. I'm afraid that I am banned from social networks due to the base I am stationed on...so no posting on Tumblr or Facebook. looking at mid November depending on when Skyhold happens in plotline....or I could try for a one off...not as good with those.

Hopefully, we will get the details of the scar ingame, especially, since Cullen doesn't have it in DA2. Maybe he got it during the chaos in Kirkwall after Hawke left or even fighting demons in Inquisition?

The beauty of video game romances   You can even (kinda) romance them at the same time if you do concurrent playthroughs, though whenever I try doing that I get the streams crossed.

I seriously went from not being interested in romancing this guy to needing to romance him on my first playthrough I´ve always thought he had an interesting character arc but honestly,seeing him all badass in the Enemy of Thedas trailer was what made me want to romance him, he really seems awesome Sorry Solas,you have to wait until my second playthrough

He sort of reminds me of Mass Effect 3 Garrus or is that just me?
