That's okay; I like the ending. Hopefully I will get the breath, which signals to me that they will be reunited... eventually

 

Though the good-bye between Shepard and Joker makes me sad yet again that Joker isn't a LI, sigh.

Yes! When he says, "Really? Because I just won, and I feel fine." The tone of voice is so damn smug and I love it. I love seeing the confidence he has in himself. We have always seen him unsure and questioning everything and now he just sounds so sure of himself.   Bloody sexy man, my quizzy doesn't stand a chance. 

Argh, I'm out of Likes again, but exactly this! He's such a little punk to Dorian in that line, and then he's practically  jumping to his feet when the Inquisitor walks up. I almost expect her to walk away and Cullen to say wistfully, "But I care."

Having been ninja-manced 4 times by Liara, I feel your pain! 

 

Hey even the game thinks you're in a romance with Liara half the time; the tender way my Shepard hugs her and says her name, yeeeesh!

 

I love Liara, but yeah. I'm glad DA has not had a character like that. Like Hawke never acted a certain way towards a character; we always got to decide if we like him/her or not. I'm sure DAI will be the same... as indicated by the way Cam Lee's ebil inquisitor treated poor baby Cole

Never played ME, though I watched my daughters (Garrus almost tempted me to play). Leliana in DAO has been my ninja-mancer most of the time, followed by Alistair.

 

This almost happened on my latest playthrough, where I got the conversation where you can joke that Leliana seems jealous of your LI, right before I was about to go upstairs and do the Dark Ritual with Morrigan...

 

"Look Leliana, I'm about to have a baby with the soul of an Old God in an attempt to cheat death, with a witch who's motivations I'm still not entirely certain of, who's going to disappear on me for two years, forcing me to track her down and follow her through a magic mirror... so, what I'm trying to say is, if you're still interested then, call me and we can try to convince her to have a threesome, but you've pretty much left this too late to change my mind right now?"

Yeah, the Garrus romance is a good one.  Leliana caught me out with the stuff about my player's hair, and shoes - it got a bit awkward!  In ME, I thought my Shep was just being friendly to Liara, next thing you know Kaidan's demanding to know what's going on.  I laughed for about half an hour over that!  I wonder if there will be the opportunity for similar misunderstandings in this one??

LOL Well, I was just enchanted with exactly that scene. Also, Inquisitor's response... she has a moment, where she's like "Huh, where did you come from??" and Cullen's moving in slow mo for her, with rainbow hearts around his head. LOL

I know I was so excited about that! It will also be interesting to see if Cullen and Varric speak about Hawke at all to the Inqusitor. Maybe what he says will change based on Hawke's personality and if Hawke supported the Templars or not.

I thought she actually looked bemused. But TBH, so far Inquisitor seems to have the emotional range akin to the Warden's... ahem.

I have to say that I thought the Inquisitor was a bit lacking in responsiveness during the clip - like she'd had her face botoxed that morning and couldn't move any facial muscles!

I thought so too, but they did choose the most cold and distant of the answers most of the time, so she didn't have much to get emotional about I suppose.

OMG Yes!!  I guess that's why the Inquisitor seems a bit... stiff. I suppose it's probably BW over compensating a bit for folks who don't want their character to have any emotion they don't decide themselves. :shrug: Oh well.

I thought they did well in DA2 with Hawke showing emotion, so I am hoping that the Inquisitor can as well. Especially when I choose for her to swoon over Cullen   Now I have to rewatch the stream, I just can't help it. Cullen is too adorable in it, I can't wait to get this scene in game

This is so promising. I'm so happy they seem to get along. That means my plan to befriend Cullen and romance Dorian 1st and then romance Cullen and befriend Dorian on the second game is probably an easy goal xD

I just want to note how amazing the animations of the characters have become since Origins. In DA:O someone would hand something to the warden and you would only see their arm moving. Now, in Inquisition, characters are playing chess and actually moving pieces!!!! I'm so impressed with the Dragon Age team's progress.
