Cool! Though I was just impressed with the size of the symbol. There's a matching one in the Inquisitor's quarters, by the way.

Oh, I actually stumbled into the Kaidan romance on one of my playthroughs with a male Shep. He'd been faithful to Liara throughout the entire three games, and suddenly Kaidan is asking for a romance and I'm like, "Noooo! Can't break your heart, Kaidan, but that's not how this guy is going, argh!" I had to stumble my way through to the "we're like ... brothers, man" talk. Poor Kaidan, sniffle.
Yeah, I hated this. It was like a fanservice thrown bone. Ugh, so awful.
Just got caught up finally!
He is seriously a golden retriever. Boss comes home, has a fit of happiness. Boss plays with him, plays with boss, sasses boss, tackles boss to the ground, licks boss in the face. Boss mean? Sad face forever. Bad guys hurt boss? EAT THEIR FACE. Boss cuddles? Best boss love boss long time.
(semi-confirmed rumor: Cullen was raised by mabaris)
Right before his grooming time is due, my golden's ear hair on the top gets all noodle-ish and reminds me of Cullen's noodle hair.. I'll have to get a picture next time. He just had his grooming so he's all ship-shape right now or I'd post one. But Nine's description is spot-on.. ![]()
I'd like to add myself to the list of "getting lost in Undercity" people. Even though I'm generally pretty good at maps, even that didn't help me much there. Eventually I learned how to spot the bat wrangler from the center pillar, and it became a lot easier to get out of there.
I was notorious in EQ1 for getting lost.. thank goodness for patient friends and guildmates!! Although maybe the only reason they were so patient was because I was the Cleric, and if they wanted their butts kept alive they needed me to get to wherever we were going.. lol
In EQ2 I've gotten better at the map system, especially since I have the eq2maps add-on that helps tremendously. And falling.. ugh.. I still have trouble in some zones, especially Solusek's Eye where you have to get to the bottom of the zone to talk to Nagafen, and it has all the lava and glass walkways with the giants walking along them. Whenever I have to go there I just resign myself to knowing it will take me hours to do it since I keep falling.
I'm a solo player now in EQ2 since all of my friends have left the game. I don't do PUGs (pickup groups) or anything since I actually don't like playing with others I don't know because of the hate - have run into it on tooooo many occasions. The friends who were playing are supposedly returning at some point, and I have no problem playing alone in the meantime - lots to keep me busy, from solo dungeons to decorating (they have a very in-depth decorating system, which greatly satisfies the creative part of my brain. I know Skyhold decorating won't be as deep, but should still be a lot of fun and I'm really looking forward to it). It's probably weird that I play an MMO solo, but I also did it with SWTOR once my son - who I tried the game with - stopped playing. It's not hard to keep to myself and just do my own thing.. the class stories are great.
Wow.. that went completely off-topic, sorry ![]()
Never played ME, though I watched my daughters (Garrus almost tempted me to play). Leliana in DAO has been my ninja-mancer most of the time, followed by Alistair.
If you ever get the chance, it's worth a try. It's a great game with awesome characters. I never thought I'd like a "shooter" but my son convinced me to give it a shot (hee!) and I'm grateful that he did
I'm still not good at the combat system but the story and characters more than make up for it. I tweaked my asset file for ME3 so that I didn't have to do MP to get the best ending - all of the SP quests gave just a touch more asset points so if I wanted the ending I still had to do everything.
LOL Well, I was just enchanted with exactly that scene. Also, Inquisitor's response... she has a moment, where she's like "Huh, where did you come from??" and Cullen's moving in slow mo for her, with rainbow hearts around his head. LOL
Spoiler
This Inquisitor immediately reminded of the awesomely badass Melina in Total Recall. ![]()
In a weird case of serendipity, I was idly watching the Star Trek film whilst on BSN earlier and the moment I realised their was a new livestream with Cullen in it, happened to be the exact moment the film got to the scene with Greg Ellis as a gung-ho redshirt.
Spooky and awesome at the same time!
(And however many times I've seen that movie, I completely forget Greg is in it until it gets to that scene!)
I was watching Hawaii Five-0 the other night and it was almost over, when out of the blue the cops walk into a shop and there was Greg Ellis behind the counter. I was only half watching/listening because I was trying to catch up on my Cullen thread reading on my laptop, and then I heard him speak. I nearly knocked the mouse off the table in front of me coming to sit at attention - thought my ears were playing tricks!
My husband looked over at me: "What?" "Oh, nothing dear.."
He only had a few lines, but I enjoyed every second of them.
Haha, I think the forum is trolling you.
Seriously. I think it's becoming sentient and is messing with us. Not only with the eternally waiting for posts and likes to appear, but also last night while trying to catch up here (I seem to be eternally doing that.. lol) I hovered over the >> symbol at the bottom of the page to see how many I had left, and it read 3326. I even double-checked it in amazement - and I was thinking what the heck happened that we would add more than 30 pages in one day?? I was too tired to keep going so left it for this morning - when it was down to a quite manageable 10 pages that I needed to catch up with. So either it was trolling with the page count, or we had one hell of a mod cleanup last night.
Speaking of which, I saved the user's name who put that spoiler in our thread that got it hidden for a while. If anyone is interested in the name so they can add it to their ignore list, PM me. It wasn't the same person that came in yesterday and had no clue that spoilers are bad.. at first I thought they had made a second account because the first was banned, but not so, that account is still active. Maybe there was more than one poster, too, although others were saying it was the same person both times. Anyway.. if you'd like it, PM me.
Speaking of spoilers though, there were lots of untagged ones in here from the vid yesterday showing dialogue and talking about

2nd edit.. trying to fix.
Oh crap.. I broke it!

It does that sometimes. A few weeks ago Seb Hanlon broke the twitter thread.

haha yeah, that was pretty funny ![]()
Looks like it's caused by mismatched tags. I accidentally put an end spoiler tag outside of a quote when I started the spoiler inside of it. All fixed!
I didn't notice that owl in the Inquisitor's room. I should rewatch the stream... for research purposes.
Hah, one of my first thoughts on seeing the Inquisitor's bedroom, "My Lavellan will need a bigger bed." ![]()

I'll say! I want one of those tall king-sized four-posters with the canopy and the side curtains, all plump and bouncy. Yes. ![]()
hey did they happen to mention what time the trailer will go up?

Maybe the furnishings etc will scale up depending on race??
Yeah, I hated this. It was like a fanservice thrown bone. Ugh, so awful.
What? No it wasn't. Hell, I found it a hell of a lot more realistic than any of the other romances.

I'm like... my male Adaar and the Iron Bull are gonna have issues on that thing... aren't they?

tried my best to isolate the bard's song from Cameron and Jason talking
. not really stellar work but it will hold me till i can get my hands on the game and the soundtrack.
Before video games there was board and card games. Chess is an old school video game basically lol....Cullen and Dorian are gamers woop woop lol
Yup. PvP complete with a little bit of trashtalking. lol!
I wonder if they implemented hickeys.

But, yes, I, too noticed the Adam's Apple. I am so glad for the return of the Adam's Apple!

OMG, still rewatching! That smirk! That confidence! That respect in standing up for the Inquisitor! Putting the woo in swoon!

...or as I just realized, he's Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, all rolled into one!

Brava, @bbattye!
Aww thank you so much. I am glad you enjoyed the scene
Bri did amazing with that scene. I adore the Dorian/Cullen interaction!
That was a nice little scene with Cullen and Dorian. I wonder if he has scenes like that with other companions? I'd love to see an arm wrestling match against Iron Bull or Blackwall. XD
*does best rabbit stuck in headlights impression*
He actually drops the chess piece, or knocks it over, when the Inquisitor walks up, lol!
Mommy like.
I just absolutely can't get enough of Cullen's sexy smirk. Seems like our bashful Templar has matured quite a bit. I wonder if we'll get to see any bits of that shyness return? Don't get me wrong, I love what Bioware has done with him but I'd like a bit of his old personality preserved. Call it nostalgia. Is that weird of me?
New #DAI video in 20 mins: The Inquisitor & Followers! Keep an eye on @dragonage #MyInquisition

I've been having so many problems posting on the Bioware Forum. It constantly wants to double post. I have to refresh the page in order not to double post.
What is going on?
Just in time for lunch then! Awesome!
