I already head canoned that Fenris or the other LI are doing something for Hawke in another area. Much like Sevran could be for my Warden.

 

I head cannoned mage master race children anyway. Chances of that happening -1.000.000. I don't care, it's all good.

Same. I'd be okay with him not coming back... at all. So I can imagine whatever positive things I want about where he is. 

 

Current headcanon is that my Hawke locked him in a room full of kittens while she's out. Please let me have this one thing, Bioware.

Half the Inquisition know him, the other half have heard of him I'd bet. The disguise might be a good idea but unfortunately I don't know if poor Anders could hold his tongue when the conversation veered onto mages or templars lol. I can imagine Hawke sitting at the lunch table cringing "Not now Banders....not now dammit"

For my part, I'm thinking that either my Hawke just left Sebastian home because he has a city-state to rule and all, no time for prancing around having adventures like an irresponsible misfit anymore; or that whatever made her "mysteriously disappear" has kept her away from Starkhaven long enough that she can't wait to be done with this saving the world business with the Inquisitor to run back home and kiss her husband (and child - ya screw you BW canon you're not my mom you don't tell me what to do ) hello.

Gods, yes, that would be messy!    My Hawke's Anders has a baby and a couple of cats to look after.  Justice can't stand cats, so he stays quiet while the moggies are about!
