Yeah that´s what I´m thinking too or hoping for at least I have to admit that Cullen being so sassy is a bit of a surprise, and I absolutely love it

Before I played DA:O I spoiled myself on who the romance options were. I remember reading about Zevran and thinking "Eh, he's not my type, I'll probably never romance him."

 

I ended up romancing him on the first playthrough and he's still one of my favorite DA characters. I understand they couldn't reasonably work him into the plot of Inquisition but damn, I'm gonna miss him.

Is it sad that the idea of romancing Cullen on the first run-through scares me to death?!

 

I have this distinct feeling like with Alistair/Fenris (for me, at least) that if I start out romancing Cullen, I'll never be able to go back! I started playing the games out romancing Alistair/Fenris exclusively through all of my play-throughs bc I simply couldn't live with romancing anyone else, before or after them. So while I really want to see what 'Ser Beefcakes' is like, and maybe even Iron Bull, I also cannot get past Cullen. He just turns me into a hot mess. If I start out with him - I will very likely keep him. I just know it! I have been trying to ignore him up until the game came out, just so I would not go running into his arms the first chance I got. Ha! Even as I write this, I fear it is useless to fight it - what's meant to be, will be. *sigh* *swoon*

I love Zevran to little bits, but I can't even look at him now without getting sad.  My second PT of DA:O was with a City Elf who romanced Zev and did the ultimate sacrifice. I actually went in and messed with my worldvault variables to get Zev's romance to be recognized in DA2, and I was in tears when I met him    That's when I promised myself I was never going to leave an LI behind again.

#DAI is about legends: Which character in the series has had the most memorable lines? #MyInquisition

 

Oddly enough, for me, my favorite lines in DAO came from Hespith.

 

Favorite line - "The Stone has punished me, dream-friend. I am dying of something worse than death. Betrayal."

 

"She became obsessed, that is the word but it is not strong enough. Blessed Stone, there was nothing left in her but the Anvil."

 

"I was her captain, and I did not stop her. Her lover, and I could not turn her. Forgive her... but no, she cannot be forgiven. Not for what she did. Not for what she has become."

 

Her VA absolutely nailed those lines for me.

    Merrill: Compared to that, my life is a stale, dry biscuit. (Sighs) I wish I had your life.

    Isabela: Because you have a good heart, and you deserve better.

 

Number 2:

Meredith's "Blessed are those who stand before the corrupt and the wicked, and do not falter!"

 

Number 3:

Since I intend to play all the four races at least once to see the difference it makes to getting the Inquisiton to be respected and how the different factions in the game will treat you as this or that race, in at least two of them I will be forced to stick to my original LI plans no matter what, because Cullen just won't be interested. My Adaar and Cadash will have to look for love elsewhere, no danger of Cullen ninjamancing them and ruining my best laid plans. My Lavellan though... I don't know, I'd say Solas should watch himself, but I'm oddly possessive of Cullen with my Trevelyan? I don't really know if I'll even be interested in sharing him with my other Inquisitors, to be honest.

 

Gender works, too. I'm sure my male Trevelyan will want a piece of that despite my best intentions, but he'll have to be a good boy and stay faithful to Dorian. (not that Dorian doesn't totally want a piece of that, too )

Hey you play the game the way YOU want to!!! Play what is fun and enjoyable. I recently tried to play a FemShep but had to quit after five minutes It just didn't feel right. But know what, I did manage to play a FemHawke, several times, and loved it. I will definitely (hopefully) be playing a FemQuisitor to romance Sera, too.
