I think the sister is probably older, as he mentioned that he was essentially practicing with his brother in order to beat the sister. It's possible that Cullen has a twin. Hmmmmmm... So, in one of the videos lately they mentioned that there was no customization of the Quizzy's casual outfit. Do you think this means that every race will have a modified version of the sort of black-sock-in-with-the-whites coloured pant suit we saw or do you think they might have a completely different outfit and that would just be the HF mage version? At any rate, I fear my desire to swan around the castle in something glamorous isn't going to be fulfilled this game around.

.. I think my FemQuisitor can survive her casual in DAI quite alright, LoL. Though I would love it if we can get numerous gowns like in Oblivion/Skyrim too, but then who knows, maybe future DLC?

I'm not really sure, but I have a question regarding Dorian... He's from Tevinter, he is a magister (right?) and he wants to change what his homeland has become. Does that include the slavery of elves? Because if you're a Dalish, I think that you might take issue with a Tevinter Magister who comes from a country where enslaving elves is the norm. Kinda like Fenris. Now, if Dorian is against all of that, then I think a Dalish would be happy to be with him.

 

so since the first moment of my decision of romancing dorian, i knew i wanted to make his romance arc more dramatic, and for me "drama" meant guy from tevinter + elf + mages (lol, i'm evil i know that) i wonder what remarks he might have when you romance him with an elf, since we know, how elves are " the favorite type of slaves" for them. tho it would be nice to learn, that he is a really good guy, who despises practices of his countrymen. but first of all i want drama! x>

 

 

The only thing that I don't like about Cullen (oh, dear) is the weird shadowing in the crease of his upper eyelids. It's just off-putting. Also, his eyes seem set too far back into his head for where his eyelids sit, like they don't quite match up.

 

I NOTICED IT TOO!! i realize how head sculpts are created in 3d software (i got an interest in it too), and it seems like his eyeballs are a little too deep in the eye sockets. welp, on this stage of the production, it's probably not fixable, but we can still look over it and enjoy his handsomeness at full (:

Frankly, I think it was ridiculous to complain about that. Its almost like people look for reasons to be offended in this fandom.

 

Those developers are working their butts off. They did not need to be bothered by something so insignificant at this stage.  

 

 

Cullenites are often attacked by misogynist remarks so I think that's why some of us are more sensitive to matters like that. I know that the dev didn't meant it badly but everytime dev says something like that Cullen haters take it as prove that we are just mindless fangirls after Cullen only because he's sexy. Sigh, I have seen too many post about it during my time as cullenite which hasn't even been so long.

for me it looked more like a bad joke, which ofc made me feel a little bit uncomfortable, but more in terms of MAKING A BAD PR to the whole fandom, rather than a personal attack. seeing how much misogyny and sexism is addressed towards women in gaming communities, it just was like a "tacit consent" for all the haters and misogynists out there to be even more of the as*es for us. and then people feel justified to ridicule and attack us, because we're only "stupid, overhormonal fangirls", and in their comprehension we "deserve it" ;/

GUYS I may have some good news! I was playing around with NFS - The Run witch was made on Frostbite engine  2  and i manage to get some meshes into the game (also thanx to my husband who manage to get some coding done) Hopefully  FB 3 will let me do that too cause i would really like to get some of my hairstyles in, altho not sure if i do that if i would get banned for it or not....

Nope, no cheating on MP not even sure  that i will play  it yet But im hoping that the new FB kept some of the same infrastructure  as the 2nd one in order for this to work,  I didn't make anything crazy for NFS just a simple box to test it, if it will be actually visible in the game, so there was no rigging  of any kind just a static mesh, I haven't tried to make a mesh that  is actually rigged to any bones that could perform any animation yet, I was just happy to see that box in the game lol

It is important to let them know this bothers us, or... at least some of us. I was more than a little bothered by that thing in the stream myself, but it's not so much about that one specific guy as much as it is the endless stream of little aggressions. From Gaider being so unnecessarily hostile whenever people talk about Alistair because fangirls are apparently so awful to talk to, to the whole "sigh Cullenites" attitude, to the whole "squeeing fangirls" act. We're being laughed at, not with, and for some of us it's getting pretty old and difficult to ignore.

 

In any case, I don't think it will come to the guy getting in trouble or anything, they'll just maybe be more attentive to things that sometimes fly over everyone's head, like mocking your fanbase and not realizing they're not finding it all that funny. Worse offenses have been done against fans by other devs, and they got a slap in the wrist and learned to be more respectful, but no one's ever been fired over a poor joke. Even Chris Priestly never got that much overreaction, and he sure did his lot to deserve it back in the old ME forums.

For example if one week they did a minor dig at the cullenites then the following week a dig at the cassandra fans (do they have a shortened term?). Ive lurked around in a few different fanbases, and all of them have involved a lot of squeeing, why are we noticed more than others?

Back from DAITheShow! Had an absolute BLAST! You guys should totally watch it in November. The Cullenites were very well represented by Lola and I!

What did you guys think about the cutscene of chess triggering by clicking on him whilst he was just by the window? I found that a little odd, especially since in DA2 that sort of scene would usually just automatically trigger as you walk through the door.

Yeah, it was slightly odd. He wasn't even hanging out in front of a door that lead to the place they were playing chess. I'm super happy to find out he has family and quite possibly a relatively normal childhood. Our boy deserves it! I too hope that maybe we can reconnect him with his family in someway and it would be even better if we could meet them in the process.

Let's not get into new vs old Cullenites, you don't know how long peeps have been around...I for instance have 1500+ posts, so new huh? Nope, my ID was changed due to account hacking. I was a regular on Cullen 2, Sebastian and Thane threads...and have to say that some of us do actually come across as squeeing fangirls of the worst sort, most of us aren't...

im hoping that finding his sister wont be his personal quest. Would be great to see them in game but we already had this with Alistair/Fenris and i know its not the same game but Ash and Miranda. (didnt see the ashley one because...kaidan. But the point stands) unless its done really well? But im looking forward to learning more about them and his life for sure.

So Cullen practiced chess a lot. In medieval-ish settings, isn't chess more of a high-class game? So this could mean Cullen is from a noble family.
