It may be mentioned, but the devs did say that lyrium addiction in general was not being implemented in game. So you know as much as I do...a passing mention is my guess.

 

Red Lyrium may be different, and I suspect covered in game.

 

Lyrium addiction would be interesting. It's a pity they decided to skip that. It's a part of being templar ....

It's part of being a mage too...rather difficult to implement in coding for PC character.

I'm waiting for the awkwardness, so far he doesn't seem that awkward...well apart from nearly sending the chess table flying. Also the nervous fidgeting waiting for Quizzy to respond to his flirt about time spent away from Inquisition business. It may not have been a flirt but came across to me as one...funny how his nervousness settles down after that.

You know, I'm kind of inclined to think Cullen is challenging people to games of chess to evaluate their abilities (as well as for fun). I think if the Inquisitor cheated or threw the game, he'd see that as a flaw or weakness in the Inquisitor. But I do think he was intentionally offering a chance for a flirt to that human mage, and I think Dorian smirked a little at Cullen when the Inquisitor showed up. It'll be fun discovering the interactions since meeting in Haven from last week that lead to that chess game this week. Then mine that scene for all the possible variations.

I think I will end up rolling a qunari and dwarf alongside a human or elf run, just so I can switch back and get some Cullen love often lol
