OMG    I just read something very disturbing. Help me clarify it. Contains Asunder spoilers.

Some days ago I read in tumblr that someone pointed Cullen's last name was "de Chalons". WELL. I am reading Asunder and they are talking about the rebellion leading to that civil war in Orlais. Apparently, the guy behind it is GRAND DUKE GASPARD DE CHALONS. Imagine my face. Is he related to Culen at all???

 

First this isn't a spoiler as IT IS NOT is Asunder. Cullen is not mentioned in that book. However a woman with a similar name is mentioned,  Calienne, the dead wife of Gaspard.

 

There has been speculation that Cullen may be related to the Orlesian nobility, Valmont or De Chalons because of his lion armour, or indeed be yet another love child of Maric Theirin by the Orlesian elven bard Katriel (mentioned as having golden curly hair and green eyes). Nothing has been confirmed.

 

We'll just have to wait and see...not long now!

I would not be adverse to smelly cheese. >.> I may or may not have dwindled the last of my measly student expenses to nothing because I spent it on some really awesome-if-a-little-smelly-brie. Alistair and I would probably get along just fine if it weren't for the fact that I'd have to share my cheese and I'd probably be mean to him about it.  I mean, I'd feel bad about it, but. Well. Cheese.

I agree, I'd rather he was not a Theirin. I also do not think he was illegitimate, the sibling talk suggested otherwise. Other than that though it is pretty open as to his family, though at least minor nobility is on the cards.

Lol, love it! I'm so bad with puns. I always peer at it and think, "was that on purpose or am I just that awesome to see a pun where there is none?" 

 

Brie is yummy, blue vein though *shakes head* smells like my brothers dirty socks after they had been left beneath his bed for a good couple of weeks when I was a kid. And I completely agree with having more hot templars. I like more.

 whoawhoaWHOA. It's probably a good thing I've got turtlebeaches then. >.> Wouldn't want my family hearing any of that coming from my room. Although I... might have to rearrange my set-up so you can't see the tv screen from the door... I think he's most likely the youngest, if he's a minor noble. Since he went off and joined the Order, although I suppose he could be the middle child, and him leaving would just bump up the youngest in terms of succession... the whole "Heir and the Spare" thing. But I don't think he's the eldest because he joined the Order. That'd be all sorts of drama and shirking your family duties right there, and I don't think he'd do that.

 

I feel for him if he's the middle child.  I am too.
