You had to google fellatio....mwahahahaha....oooops sorry couldn't help but laugh....reminds me of that time Sebastian was called a cunning linguist and we had to explain.

I must be old....we used that desciption when I was much younger

Well ha. ha

English isn't my mother-language and I live in the Netherlands.. On an average scale I think I can speak and write better than most in my age-group.. but I still don't recognize some words. I feel gravely insulted at your reaction

Sorry, it was meant as a tease. More to the point a mickey take of my own age group where such words were commonplace.

I apologise that you felt the need to edit your post to say that you feel a 'little insulted' to 'gravely insulted.' and shall delete my comment if you so wish.

Lol, love it! I'm so bad with puns. I always peer at it and think, "was that on purpose or am I just that awesome to see a pun where there is none?"  :P

Brie is yummy, blue vein though *shakes head* smells like my brothers dirty socks after they had been left beneath his bed for a good couple of weeks when I was a kid. And I completely agree with having more hot templars. I like more.  :D

I love puns, but only to a certain point. My boyfriend's sense of humour is just ALL puns. Mostly really bad ones. One time on xbox live, we had a full party of 8, and he was in a really joking mood that night and it got to the point where 4 people muted him and 1 person actually unfriended him for the day.

I love blue veined cheese! Probably because I don't have a very good sense of smell though.  :P There's a kind of cheese we bring in for fancy parties that's a cross between a brie and a blue cheese and it's just the best thing ever.

I feel like hot templars should just become a running gag. Or hot templars from Ferelden. Like, if my Quizzy ends up meeting Alistair in the same room as Cullen:

See this is why I´ve been thinking that you might be able to change the color, remember the female qunari in the E3 demo? She was wearing a red shirt, same design but it was red :)

Hmm, I wonder if this actually tells us anything about the casual outfit, tho, since this same design seems to show up on regular armor, too. Maybe you just see different colors in the armor versions?

I *think* the only way is cludgey. You click quote for the latest quote, and then I've just cut and pasted the inside quote into the quote in my reply. (at least, that's the way I've started doing it)

Lol, oh god. I'm listening to my partner playing Destiny at the mo and damn he is a bossy S.O.B!

The only good pun I have ever come up with was when I was a teenager and my sisters friend (whom we hadn't seen for a couple of years) came for a visit and I said, "I don't think I know your face but your car looks..... familiar." She owned a Mazda Familiar and she looked at me like I was a weirdo so I hand-waved her the hell out of my house for having no sense of humour.

If hot templars from Ferelden actually became I thing, well, I think I may have to continue throwing my money at BioWare. I should just give them access to my accounts, it would be far more easier.  :P

I found this on the DA-twitter thread. I really had to snort at the final sentences. :P But then I googled fellatio.. lol wut?

http://www.esrb.org/...searchkeyword=

"Rating Summary: This is a role-playing game in which players assume the role of a warrior battling evil forces in different dimensions. Characters use swords, axes, hammers, and magic attacks to kill fantastical creatures (e.g., demons, monsters, dwarfs) and humans in melee-style combat. Cutscenes sometimes depict characters impaled or getting their throats slit. Violent sequences are often highlighted by cries of pain, gurgling/gushing sounds, and large blood-splatter effects; blood remains on the ground in several environments. The game includes some sexual material: a female character briefly depicted in front of a man's torso (fellatio is implied); characters depicted topless or with exposed buttocks while lying in bed or after sex; some dialogue referencing sex/sexuality (e.g., “'I will bring myself sexual pleasure later, while thinking about this with great respect'” and “The way your t*ts bounce when I pin your arms and take you on the side of the bed…”). The words “f**k,” “sh*t,” and “a*shole” appear in dialogue."

Wow, I had no idea the ratings were that... descriptive. Giving examples??  That's, um, interesting, and curiously lacking context.

Your English is awesome!  For what it's worth, fellatio is a little used word in English, so I wouldn't be surprised if some native English speakers would have to look it up, too.

I think it also underscores how very odd that rating description is, that it includes such ... descriptive words! :)

:o whoawhoaWHOA. It's probably a good thing I've got turtlebeaches then. >.> Wouldn't want my family hearing any of that coming from my room. Although I... might have to rearrange my set-up so you can't see the tv screen from the door... I've got a bunch of nephews, nieces, and an easily-scandalized-but-not-adverse-to-blackmail little sister who like to barge in.

OK, now I have to look something up... "turtlebeaches"??

Oh gosh Destiny. I had to forbid my boyfriend from making puns while we're raiding so that we don't wipe the whole team because we're too busy groaning at how bad his puns are to pay attention. >.> Whenever he makes a pun he does this smug little one eyebrow raise too. It's cute and kinda hot but it can get infuriating!

I'm wondering if the first quote is said sarcasticaly. Sort of like in Firefly, When Mal and Zoe were like, "Yes Sir. And now we shall go and ravish each other." Because otherwise that's... well, uncomfortable and... really really weird.

And the second one! o.O I wonder who says that? It's also just making me wonder just how raunchy Cullen's lines actually get, considering that snippet we got from Greg on twitter.

Oh, I mean Turtlebeach! It's just a brand of gaming accessories, mostly headsets. I have a set of surround sound headphones for my xbox one from Turtlebeach that sends all my game/tv volume and chat volume to my headset so I don't disturb my family if I'm playing late at night. I just mute my tv while I use them so there isn't an echo.

:o  :o  :o  :o  :o  Greg Ellis saying that...? ohmydearladybabyAndraste, if Cullen says something like that, there better be some pretty significant context, or our boy's come farther than I thought. Heh. Or maybe Brianne's been reading a bit too much Fifty Shades? (no slight meant toward Brianne whatsoever, just joking).

Oh man, now I feel some Fifty Shades of  Templar coming on...

Is it bad that the only thing I wondered from that is which of the characters was the PC in the fellating scenario?

I'm going to guess the first line is said, in a sarcastic tone, by either Sera, Dorian or Bull. The second line (assuming it's not coming from some random NPC) I'm guessing may be from Sera or Bull.

adding context to the lines makes them sound infinitely less creepy it helps a lot

Derp! oh! LOL I had this notion of some program that bleeps out or replaces the bad words in your game or video. Can you imagine?

TBH, one of my first thoughts was... these ratings descriptions are very useful for parents like me who have NO idea at this point what to expect violence-wise even from these E for everyone games .

Can we get 50 different Templars to illustrate? Because they're a pretty good looking bunch overall

Yeah, sarcastic or not, I could even see the first line being something Isabela would say. The second... I'm still searching for a context that doesn't make it creepy to hear in the actual game... whether or not these characters would actually say it in real-Thedosian life, you know? I keep imagining a 'use the feather' type context.

Fifty Shades of Templar would still be infinitely better than Fifty Shades of Grey.  -_-  And I can't picture Cullen saying something like that without blushing, both me and him, regardless of how far he's come. He seems too much of a gentleman. I mean, he could barely say brothel! I mean, even if he does have some experience in the sex and romance department, he seems too classy for stuff like that.

Although. I say that. But. >.> *casually kicks some decidedly unclassy smut of Cullen and Quizzy underneath the bed*

I'm thinking the same thing too. That first line just seems too awkward to have been said organically.

I think you should actually be proud of your grasp of English, it did not occur to me that you were not a native speaker. My error, as I would not have teased you if I'd known.

The word in question  has fallen out of use generally, even in British English, being seen more these days in French and Italian...weird to see it in censor ratings!

For some reason, my brain imagined this as a Templar recruiting tool (don't judge!)... which makes me think of this:
