i still can't believe we don;t have templar companion tho. one having to battle perhaps against old friends--that are now strung out on red lyrium.
we've got all the mages covered. apostate, circle, tevinter.

Well, one positive thing I can say is that the game looks great. Varric's voice moved really nicely, VERY different from the Fires Above trailer. I'm feeling good about that.
The table scene, everyone still looked pretty pre-alpha lol
And the inquisitor's voice, it doesn't sound as horrifyingly deep as I first thought. I can work with it.

When I suddenly realize that my nose is almost touching the screen....well, then, maybe I need to admit I might need some of those old lady glasses! ![]()

That's also what I was thinking. Hmm, if NPC advisors can travel around with you...? Yay!!
Maybe he's some kind of aide de camp? Goes wherever you go? That'd be nifty. And logical! The Inquisitor-in-Chief can't be keeping a lid on the pot while he or she is off closing Veil tears, right?

At this point, I'm willing to concede that Cassandra probably had some knowledge of the templar order, if only because it's her job to police them.

Filtered, but still a lot easier to see details for The Last Supper scene.

"Whether the dark-haired sorceress seeks to influence the Imperial throne, or harbors more sinister motives, no-one knows for certain. This Witch of the Wilds arrived in Orlais rather suddenly three years ago as the newly-appointed “arcane advisor” to Empress Celene. In this role, Morrigan presents a source of information unfiltered by religious dogma, and satisfies Celene’s life-long curiosity about magic. However, whispers carry concern of Morrigan having Celene wrapped around her finger, teaching the Empress forbidden, dark arts in secret."
I am really NOT ready to trust Morrigan. I wonder what she's up to.

Looks like we'll have the same companion gender imbalance as DA:O, since it looks likely that we'll have Vivienne, Cassandra and Sera as our companions. Shame.
In any case, I hope they have such kick-ass personalities that they more than make up for the gap! ![]()

It'll be a neat switch. In DAO, most of my characters trusted her. In DAI, I could see it being the exact opposite. I'm looking forward to it.

Most of 'em do.
I can't wait to see him talk in-game. A far away angled picture like this just makes me curious.

My first canon Warden never trusted her and refused to kill Flemeth and lied to her. Which is why Witch Hunt made sense; he couldn't stand the girl so why was he chasing after her? *rolls eyes* But yeah, it's gonna be great having her as an antagonist (keeping in mind that I love her character, even if my Warden did not.)
