Beyond Earth just came out today, and it's helping keep me sane.  Making friends with aliens and terraforming tundras keeps my mind off the fact that DA:I and its extremely beautiful denizens are still out of my reach.

How did you get on at the dentist? Hope it went ok .

I read a load of the forums, like you watch clips and such, it always makes me want to load up DA2 again to fulfil the DA needs..... that tactic isn't working any longer, I like DA2 a lot too but its not DAI and that's becoming a problem lol. Gah!

I can't download any new games either, took 3 days just to get DA2    I bought Oblivion disc game, lasted about 40mins in that, I got killed for mounting some random horse   And all the time hubby is bouncing about in WoW..."look at this", "Ohhh did you know?", " This is awesome!" I might just need to go and hibernate until November lol.

When I got to the dentist I felt sick as soon as she put her fingers in my mouth, so we've re-scheduled for a couple of weeks' time.  I've just had my arthritis meds increased, and they make me feel sick at the best of times, so I'm hoping that with a couple of weeks grace, I'll feel better.  if not, I just won't take them the week before I go back to the dentist.

Aww =/ sorry to hear that. Side effects from new meds can be a menace, hope it settles down some for you.

 

I just finished a pro-templar mage PT last night, it's surprisingly good imo . I have another game half ways through Act2, I don't know if I can be bothered with it though lol.

For some reason my ME3 has started randomly crashing and hanging during cutscenes, it's annoying because it's so random. The solution is probably to re-download it *cringe* the origins fix thing took a whole night and didn't fix it .

I'll probably just go and haunt fanfiction site again, see if there are any updates for the stories I have been reading. I read one 40chapters, thoroughly enjoyed it but hadn't read in the snippet that it wasn't complete, looked for chapter 41...... *Arrrghhh!*

Dragons are awesome! They look so real in all these games, but yeah it does suck that you most likely have to kill them.

So I am getting DA:I for the PS3 at first but then I am going to be getting the PS4 a month later, now I know that it is not backwards compatible but you are able to upgrade recent games to the PS4. How does one do that, how much does it cost, and what does it do to the game- graphically speaking. If I upgrade the PS3 edition of DA:I would its graphics be that of the PS4's once upgraded?

You should make sure first that upgrading is going to be available for Inquisition. Currently there are only four games that let you upgrade from PS3 to PS4, we don't know if DAI will have this feature. It's worth asking some devs on twitter or over the stream if they have plans for this, so you don't end up having to pay full price for a second copy of DAI later when you get the new console.

I vaguely remember reading Dragon Riders of Pern, though it's been...almost 15 years since?  Dang, where did my childhood go?!

 

Though nowadays, I've gotten into How to Train Your Dragon.  It helps that the animation for Toothless is based off of a large cat, and I LOVE kitties.

I, uh, played that game. Multiple times. 

 

It wasn't the best, but because I loved the Pern universe, I loved it. It did NOT age well, though!

I cringed a little at that noise too I know we can run away from fights, my quizzy will employ that tactic on many occassions lol I'm kind of hoping that running from a dragon in DAI won't literally come back to bite my quizzy & co. in the ass lol.

Oh man, I'm going to have a hard time killing dragons in this game.  I couldn't even bring myself to do it in Origins.

 

...we'll see if my greed for shiny things outweighs my empathy for digital dragons.  I killed the Bone Pit dragon because I wanted the chest armor it drops
