I don't mind not having a dress for the femquisitor, it's just a tiny part of the game so it's not awful. I do wish the option was available, and it upsets me males kinda get priority when it comes to this stuff. I like how it looks, it's very nice, but why couldn't they just have used the design and added a skirt to it? It could be like a robe, as a lot of you have said. I'm not big on animation and all that, but it really can't have been too much of an issue for such a short part of the game... idk.
This is where I'm hoping the modding community will break into the engine. This isn't a big thing for me, but if the option to mod it in is available I'd be thrilled. I don't care how buggy it could look.

Okay so I watched the stream and I still am feeling more hypnotized with every ounce of content we are seeing! So that is the good news. I am a little disappointed that both genders have the same attire for the ball, I realize we are getting a lot of choices in DA:I...but we all want MOAR! So I think I could disregard that choice not existing IF we are able to bring our LI to the ball and dance with them at some time. Kind of like this...imagine the scandal! 
OR if we could dance like this on our own, then I would totally forgive all missed opportunities!

Interesting thought. Hmmm.... See, I've read some of the DA novels. I can't say I like Celene much. I suppose though, as Inquisitor, you'd make nice with the powerful people for the sake of Thedas. It's just a dance after all, I doubt she'd be so terrible a dancer as to step on my Quizzy's toes.
On another note, after finishing "Laugh", I am tempted to write another Cullen fic. Maybe a sequel to it.... are there any prompts or something?

I would like a silk dress as well, this is a ball if they wanted a different social engagment/other outfit they could have had plenty of others. Me, my human inquistor would love to wear some of the dresses that Margery Tyrell wore in Game of thrones. As an example, here is one of her blue dresses from the show.
I do hope that we can dance with our love interest, weather that is Cullen or someone else.

When I learnt to dance a few years back, we girls were taught to put our arms above men's arm since it's them who lead most times. I've never seen two girls dancing together thought... So whether it's the Male or Female inquisitor, he/she's taking the lead of the dance.

Oooh an idea: how about Cullen and a puppy? Warden gave Anders a kitten (Ser-Pounce-A-Lot), Inquisitor can give Cullen a mabari puppy to keep him company. And he goes all soft every time he's with the little beast that reminds him so much from his own mabari when he was a wee kid.
