True, sorry folks.

Thank you so much! And it was just a little sneak peek of one.
Can you post a link to it? I think I missed it.

You are probably right
But I urge everyone to look into the situation if only to educate themselves on what's going on in our community. Female critics and journalists are even being threatened with violence and the authorities have been called in on some occasions. Also, BioWare devs are, naturally, 100% on the side of these women and their allies and are against this kind of violent sexism.
It's just important to know that this is going on, as we are all gamers, and this sort of thing is just unacceptable, on any grounds.

Here are the two I saw...
Thank you! Wow! Really exciting stuff. Hmmm... I know this has been brought up before, but

Spoiler
I'm praying that we will!!!
*Sigh*You're right, this is indeed the female version since the person wearing this appears to have breasts.I also second everything you said in this post!
I hope Cullen will be at the ball as well.
Bit late so nothing new...
As someone who doesn't wear dresses irl, I was kinda looking forward to at least wearing a modest ball dress to the ball or at very least the option. I really disliked Hawke's pant suit in MotA and sometimes it just feels a little odd. I understand either side, I also understand that it could be difficult for the devs. I think it may end up being like a military suit or something similar but I would prefer the option... it doesn't have to be a massively puffy dress, even just like the dresses someone posted previously of the dress mod for DA2.
And as much as I would LOVE to dance with Cullen or any LI, I'm kinda hoping not now that I know the Quizzy is going to be in a pant suit... might look a bit weird (I probably will anyway)

This is the first time I have actually felt a little disappointed about something. I really wanted to be able to wear a dress to the ball! It would have been cool if they had given us an option between some sort of dress and the pantsuit. Heck, they could have given us an option between the pantsuit that has been shown and a more feminine-style pantsuit and I would have been happy with not getting the option to wear a dress.

Yes!
In reality, it's only a little thing and I'm the same first really disappointment for me (I knew I was grasping at straws with a Varric romance).
I've been thinking, if creating a ball dress or dresses meant spending a large time creating and working out the mechanics etc it might of meant missing out on other content that we won't necessarily know about until we play the game. When I think of it like that, then yes I'm still a little disappointed but I'm okay with it.

I'm totally ok with the reason as to why they couldn't do it and understand because I for one don't want a buggy game but there could have been an option for a more feminine looking pantsuit, right?
Yes! I agree!
I can see why they might go a little military though... or like a foreign diplomat type thingy...
I still would of like to dance with Cullen with a dress but alas, I will have to head cannon it ![]()
Actually, I would be more disappointed if the advisors don't go at all.
Something that makes me happy is the fact that Bioware is aware of most of our concerns. For example Mr. Laidlaw tweeted that they could possibly have different outfits at Skyhold available, post launch that is. I know it wishful thinking but it would be amazing if we go those different outfits in a month or heck even less!
I'm not too concerned about pantsuit though I'd have preferred ball dress this time. They could have animated stiff dress so it wouldn't have needed to move. However at least pantsuit is better than latex dress fem!Shep got.

I saw this, gives hope that it might be DLC later. I truly dislike the Skyhold outfit... even just being able to change colour would be nice

I actually don't mind the Skyhold outfit, it could be better but I don't hate it. The color on the other hand...well I think it would look better as a deep crimson or scarlet color with silver gems instead of gold gems paired with beige fabric. I just love color options to begin with so I hope that we do get the chance to change our Skyhold outfit's color.

As long as the ball suit fits the female Inquisitor better than FemHawke in that pantsuit I´m good
And I really hope you can dance with your LI during the ball!
(Imagine a dwarf dancing with Bull
)
I mean, I love Loghain as a whole concept of a character, from rise to downfall. And I love Celene too, jagged sides and all. I wouldn't invite any of them to my birthday party, but they're interesting characters.
Gaspard... I've yet to find anything to like about this guy, but I know a lot of people love him. He's in the pile of characters people love but I just can't with, along with Fiona and Adrian. My Inquisitor doesn't know him so I can't wear my bias too strongly or it ruins the roleplaying, but... let's say I'm not looking forward to chat him up in game.

Yeah, that's my face right now. Multiplied by 1000.
It'd be so nice to be able to dance with LI. *swoon*

I would prefer beige to be honest... I loathe red (any shade) lol. So yeah I would love just to be able to change colour or even if the brought in dyeing later for the clothing.
EDIT: I just realised that when creating armour using different cloth will create a different colour or pattern... pretty cool (just watching the stream now)

Speaking of dwarven Inquisitors, how on earth are they going to dance with Celene? Is she going to carry them?
Oh yeah,this better happen haha

I think one thing I don't like about it is that it just seems very... human. Like human pajamas
It doesn't seem like something my Dalish would wear, unless someone gave it to him and said, "You must wear this." It just does not look like the sort of thing you would normally wear if you lived in the forest with your clan... it's too silky and pretty and soft and, well, full-coverage ![]()

I agree I don't think it's something the Dalish would normally wear and I think you're right it probably is a case of "here wear this" and no choice given in the matter. Do we know if it's exactly the same outfit? like is the colour different at all?
I also think it may be a case of appearance sake as head of the Inquisition especially since that projection of appearance is probably geared towards majorly human organisations/countries to support & help fund the inquisition
EDIT: I do hope however if you are Dalish, Dwarf or Qunari, you could add a little cultural touch to your outfit (but doubt it)
(I need to stop saying "like" like I'm a teen again...oops)

I have seen qunari female with same outfit but white shirt and black pants. Maybe color is customizable? Idk.
