Oooh I love the name Anais! I know a girl here in my office whose name is Anais, she's so pretty with curly brown hairs

And it's officially -2.5 weeks before launching!

My RL name is the Irish version of Anais, and the pronunciation is very similar.  My first playthrough I usually use Lilaeth, and then when i kind of know what I'm doing, I'll do another one using Jaelythe.  When I do my male playthrough, probably Conor.

Trystane is such a gorgeous name!

But a bit sad, reconsidering the legend of Tristan and Yseult...

Well they did say that the Dorian romance was "powerful" :P Btw,I was just rewatching the Skyhold video (lol) and I noticed that Varric wasn´t wearing his coat and I´m pretty sure Blackwall wasn´t in his armor,so those that mean that companions will wear something akin to casual outfits in Skyhold or at least wear what they wear under the armor? :)

Most of the time I use name Arya. At least one of my Wardens and Hawkes has this name. xd I also like Rhiannon and Jolinar. :P

For male I'm thinking about Gwain.

Btw, you have lovely name. :)

Anais is quite popular as name here in France, especially on my generation. What's the Irish version of Anais?

Gwain & Rhiannon rocks :)

Well, it's decided: Alanna Trevelyan, Knight Enchanter of Ostwick. (Courtesy of Song of The Lioness series which profile a knight-but-able-to-use-magic Sir Alanna).

-2.5 WEEKS!!! WARF!!!

I didn't know Anais is so popular. :P In Poland we don't use that name. Still it's beautiful :)

I saw one with Varric on a kind of red-purple shirt. Dorian also play chess without armor (except if it's his armour...) with Cullen. Weirdly, Cullen keep his armour all the time. Can't understand this since he's not always on battlefield. But still it looks real good on him so no complain

Maybe it's not as popular as that, I just happen to know about 8 Anais when I was still in the university a few years back.

I pick names quite randomly, usually using baby name places and look meanings of names there. For my Cullen romance I chose Milica cause it's given name of my fav actress Milla Jovovich :)

Yeah Varric definitely not wearing his coat but I´m not sure about Dorian to be honest but since Viv wasn´t wearing her har or the armor pieces of her outfit it might actually be true, which would be really cool :). Haha yeah,I wonder if he´ll get some casual wear for this love scene?Sort of like how Garrus did in ME2/3 :P

Normally in the DA universe the continued wearing of armour during a situation that would normally be clothing, indicates a hardened character. Like Leliana in the coronation scene, if you hardened her by killing Marjolaine. I'm expecting Leliana to be wearing her armour most of the time too. The devs did however confirm in a tweet that Cullen wears his armour most of the time...suggesting that there are times when he doesn't. I'm looking forward to seeing Cullen in normal clothes.

So...has the joke been made that Cullen seems to get younger looking with each game? Is lyrium like an anti-aging cream? Cause I'm all for pro-templar if it is XD (now i'm imagining an adorable pre-teen carver...)

That could also mean that Cullen wears his armor all the time except naked time

Yes my mind went there too.  :P

However I do think we may see some real clothes during the romance...or Halamshiral.

Grey hair.......... :( I have a uhm few. My hairdresser was all "ah it's not so bad, you don't have that many", then she lifted up my sides and proclaimed "ahh, I see, perhaps a nice blonde colour today?" Thankfully I only see her twice a year at an absolute push. I get hubby to run a dye through my hair, last time he missed a rather large chunk (ass!) so if I get caught in a wind or run my hand through it, I have this massive, almost glowing patch of grey, all it needs is some flashing lights and a big glowing arrow to say "LOL Look here", only another couple of weeks until I can safely dye it again without fear of it going green just to add to my bad hairday misery :D

I can't decide on a name for my first Inquisitor either, I had one, thought about it too much and ended up all "blergh, don't like it now" so for now she is called Anon.

Unfortunately my grey (well, white, really) is scattered about and hasn't grouped into any nice patches.  I have very dark hair so I'm still fighting the good fight and getting it dyed.  I've been going grey since I was a teenager (thanks Mom and Grandma ) so I'm pretty used to it.

As far as names for my Inquisitors, I like the first and last names to flow together well.  So far I'm going with Aislinn Treveylan for my female mage and my male warrior will probably be Aodhan Treveylan.  Not sure why I like the consonance of the n's at the end, but I like the way they sound together.

Ah, I actually think that his personal quest will be something about getting him out of that armour...

Aislinn is really nice name for mages, its meaning is something about dreams/vision right? Very connected to the context since mages can visit the Fade consciously while sleeping.

Well, for my knight enchanter I'm still torn between Alanna or Aria. Apparently Aria means the following:

- Lioness (Hebrew): since Cullen's definitely a lion...

- a kind of song

Funny how bioware sometimes connect many LI (mostly male) with some kind of animal equivalent: Cullen's a lion, Fenris a wolf, and Iron bull is well... a bull. I assume that Blackwall can be something like a bear.

Oh all of those sound lovely! :) Alanna or Arya if you´re playing as a human? Arya is a boys name in my home country too, I think my parents were planning on naming me that if I had been a boy :P

It's all on account of Game of Thrones

Same, started getting white hairs as a teen! Now my temples are pretty much white. But you'd never know cause I've not had natural hair for years xD Also white hair soaks up dye REALLY REALLY well. So while my hair is nicely blue at present, my temples are REALLY REALLY blue  So I consider it a blessing. My hair does grow rather fast, but I don't mind bleaching and re-dying the roots every 5-6 weeks. I usually do that after my hair appointment.

My first Dragon's Dogma pawn was named Arya :D I love her (in GoT), too; not familiar with Eragon.

I tend to pick medieval names from my massive medieval name resource. It is where I found my all my character's name that I use. Highly useful IMO. So if anyone is struggling for a name feel free to check it out.
