That pic is a screenshot too isn't it? I wonder what causes him to make that face...
Maybe he dislikes fish as much as Fenris does? ![]()

Agree. I think he looks older than in DA2.
Yeah, he seems mid-30. On DA:O he seemed to be early twenties, DA:2 ending at 30, so here it's more like 30-35.
The frostbite engine actually make him older but also more handsome and serve as flat iron for hairs. Aaah what a pity for those curls...
did everyone manage to get on the Keep?

Late 20's to early 30's, mid-30's at a push, according to a dev when I asked.
I know.. I personally think he doesn't really look the same in this pic as any of the other pictures of him that we've seen...
Amazingly enough this is the pic that near matches his face from DAO and DA2 in pattern recognition software for IDs (yes I ran it on the sly). I guess Noodles spends too much time frowning in those games or at least the pics I compared..
I actually like the fact that he looks very different between happy and annoyed, but that's just me. I know a lot of men who look amazingly different when they actually smile or relax, rather than wearing their game face.

I thought the CHR file in DAO said he was 24 then? That would make him mid 30s in Inquisition.
I still don't think he looks twenty something in any of the DAI shots.Late 20's to early 30's, mid-30's at a push, according to a dev when I asked.
I'm having trouble with new friend requests. When I try to accept, the Keep is telling me the Invitations cannot be found, whatever that means. So if you've sent me a friend request, just know I'm trying to accept it, but have been unable to so far. I have sent feedback about this issue to the Keep.
Love you guys!
Ha ha! No trouble accepting friend requests via Origin! Crisis averted! ![]()

Doesn't mean I don't think he's smokin. Just don't think he looks like he's de-aging like some folks have suggested. He didn't have all those crows feet before.
I agree, I think he looks the right age now, he just looks like he gets more sleep
and I think they tried to make his hair curly, but someone said his hair looked like a sponge?? Not sure if that was just a bug and they always intended for his hair to be straighter, or if they tried to make it curly but couldn't without it looking terrible.
My throne will now canonically be called the comfy chair! ![]()
That's just a guideline, not necessarily canon. Altho I think it makes more sense than him being a teenager in DAO and twenty something in DAI.I thought the CHR file in DAO said he was 24 then? That would make him mid 30s in Inquisition.
Hmm, can someone send me a friend request on the Keep? My origin account is NFTM17.

The more I see that pic the more it looks like a lusty leer ( in the nicest possible way) than something angry.
If he's at 18-20 at DA:O it'll make him around 28-32 at the beginning of DA:I. I don't really think that he's above 25 at DA:O, more like late teens/very early twenties at max. What makes him even hotter now is that he had overcome all his shyness apparently, at work at least.
EDIT: my personal preference is that he's 30-35, since the rest of the cast is a little bit older this time (Cassandra, Leliana, Josie apparently). So it's only more fitting to have Cullen & the inquisitor to be around that age too.
Anyway, does anyone knows what does it mean the Keep tile: Hawke is friend with Cullen (or not). Which quest that gives that???
it is a screenshot ... And I'll wager an older one, since I greatly greatly prefer the screenshots we've seen since then. That pic is a screenshot too isn't it? I wonder what causes him to make that face...

I don't believe this is a real in game flag. Just headcanon. If he's at 18-20 at DA:O it'll make him around 28-32 at the beginning of DA:I. Depending on how the conversations with Hawke go over the course of the game, Cullen can call Hawke a friend in Act 3. Of course you can decide in the Keep whether you want your Hawke and Cullen to be friends independent of any playthrough choices.

His DAO file age was just reference for the voice actors, it's not canon or anything.
I didn't think he could be a teenager in DAO because he was a full templar, say he started at 15, then 5 years of training (minimum)...the 24 sounded pretty realistic for DAO.
I'm just going to roll with a headcannon mid 30s then, because he looks it.
I'd say Cullen is no older than 20-21 in Origins, based on the fact that he'd never done a harrowing before. Alistair was 19/20 in Origins and was about to be made a full templar 6 months prior when Duncan took him away. I'm not sure how exactly templar training works, if it's dependent on age or number of years trained or what have you, or how long one has to be a templar before they are put in charge of the sword in a harrowing; but if Cullen became a full templar around the age of 19, and was subsequently assigned to the circle in Origins, he could be a junior templar there for a year or two before the mage Wardens' stories start. Making him about 32 in DA:I.
My nick in the Keep is alternativepaula if anyone wants to be friends ![]()
Soo anyone else having trouble with the friend request feature?
Like you all show up on my notification list but I can´t actually accept ![]()
we do know that at least in Kirkwall they start at 15 and train for at least five years before knighthood (cf, Keran). (As j-i-f suggested) No way of knowing how quickly one might be called upon to kill a mage during a harrowing. Id say early 20s is still plausible. 24 in dao puts him abt the same age as Hawke, which works for me for ... Reasons.I'd say Cullen is no older than 20-21 in Origins, based on the fact that he'd never done a harrowing before.
