I like nicknacks, you know, wee silly bits. I'd love mugs, coasters, posters, semi-sensible things but I want one of Mories Pocket Cullens as a pencil/pen topper :D Pyjamas! ooh I'd want pj's. Sooo many everyday things that Cullen could make better lol.

A Dragon Age bra that looks like armour and has a pocket in the left cup for a picutre of your LI...  ;)

Friend now doesn't want to go see Frankenstein - I am advising her to rethink that decision.  With great respect.

I was going to create a new thread for this but I thought maybe the best place to ask this would be with the Cullen experts.  ;)

I've just been playing around in the Keep and I noticed under the DA:II companions tapestry there is the option of choosing 'The relationship between Cullen and Hawke.'

Now granted, It's been a couple of months since I last played DA:II but I can't really remember Cullen having a major role in DA:II, I remember a few side-quests with him involved and you could have some mage/templar banter. I don't really remember any sort of major interaction between him and my Hawke.

DA:II related spoilers:

Spoiler

Is there any way to tell if my Hawke and Cullen formed some sort of friendship through this? Or have I missed out on something here?

OK, so for the Cullens (or any other DA:I themed stuffs) merchandise from Bioware store:

- Cullen lifesize poster

- Cullen T-shirt & hoodies (ladies cut) & polo anyone? PJs

- mugs

- key pendant?

- Cullen chibi doll in his templar & inquisition armour? :P

In other news, I ordered Asunder last night, it should be delivered on Saturday. I haven't read any of the other books so I hope it doesn't ruin my experience but from what snippets I've seen discussed on the forums, it should hopefully give me some more detail and information about DAI, looking forward to getting it now

You must read Masked Empire...You...Your just must!

It's very important that you do this.

I think it's more on how YOU view your relationship with him. There is an option to call him a friend in one of his talks. As to his role, I think he had a fairly major role in that he was practically your liason with the templars.

Does someone remember if we can name mounts or not? I can't remember if there has been info of that or not.

I've been hoping!

I have plans.

Pretty much this is how I view the "were Cullen and Hawke friends" tile in the Keep.  Depending on how Hawke's conversations went with Cullen throughout the game - agreeing or disagreeing with Cullen's views - Cullen could refer to Hawke as a friend in one of the conversations in the Gallows in Act 3.  You can decide for each of your world states whether or not you want them to have been friends.

It's actually difficult, but it's possible to be aggressive and contrary enough toward him that he doesn't side with you against Meredith.

He will clearly become more uncomfortable with Meredith's regime, but if you convince him you're a disrespectful, self-destructive sociopath? He'll decide you aren't the one worth making an issue out of it.

You have to REALLY push him, though...

Yeah what Wiccame said. I think it's more abt how you view it. Personally I think the term "friend" is kind of a stretch. Even if Hawke and Cullen were amicable with each other, they were not "friends". They barely knew each other.

But you know...just ...I think it's just to give a broad vibe for your perceptions of him.

Bite your tongue! Hawke and Cullen were friends! Good friends dammit! She would've done anything for him! *sob* no one can tell me otherwise!

I feel a bit daft that, even though I found out about Cullen a week ago (Been trying not to spoil myself until now, but now I am just eating any and all Inq information!) And it wasn't until today whilst watching a video on romances that I realised who Cullen was.

I feel stupid, but I'm really glad Cullen is finally a party member, he was my favourite character in Origins when I first started, and was super bummed that you couldn't recruit him. Alistair obviously made up for it somewhat, but I am glad we now have Cullen along for the ride!

More seriously, what everyone else said. It's basically your headcanon. And probably just influences how DAI Cullen will talk about Hawke.

Actually, just so ya know, he's not a party member. He's an advisor, a new fangledy NPC you can romance. If you want to read more there's a bunch of info in the OP.

(And we're excited, too!)

Argh...out of likes!  I like all of these.  Even though my Hawkes were (almost always, except when necessary for achievements) mages, they were polite and friendly with Cullen so yes, liking all the Cullen and Hawke were friends world states!

Also, I was trying to wait until payday (next week) to order my Cullen tank top but I caved and put it on the Visa because I didn't want it to sell out in my size.  That's a valid concern, right?  Right?
