Is the twitch stream with the fem inquisitor that up on youtube yet? I was out and missed it. 

 

I have blue yes, plain old blue. Sometimes they look really nice and bright and sometimes they look kind of grey. *shrugs*

 

You have beautiful large eyes... nothing plain about them!

 

I've got central heterochromia, my outer iris is a deep blue, the middle is sea-green, while the inner iris is a dark brown.

 

One of the things I'm most excited about Inquisition is that we're able to change inner and outer iris colours, so I'm finally able to recreate my eye colour in the Character Creator instead of just using a generic green.

 

Yes it's going to be great! I love the idea of even just subtle changes in eye colour from one to another light shade of the same colour, let alone 2 completely different colours!

 

Apparently I have central heterochromia as well with golden brown in middle and green in the outer with a few dark dark specks here and there. Most of the time they look brownish because of the central colour is usually where the iris sits... I just consider myself pretty standard hazel though. Growing up my eyes where bright green for a little bit, my Mum blame my obsession with my cats (& anyone else's that I could find & bring home).

 

I am a firm believer that the eyes are the window to a person's soul & generally can tell a lot by them.

 

Does anyone know if the two twitch streams from PAX Aus & ML interview is on YT yet? Twitch doesn't like me much (& therefore, I dislike it back )

 

EDIT: oh yeah, I'm a blonde as well... Actually atm it's multi-coloured because I dyed it bright purple for crazy hair day at school a week ago for kids cancer

Seriously guys, you haven't lived until you've been told you're a witch, or a mutant, or that you'll beome a werewolf, or a vampire when you die - all based on the fact that you're a red hair/green eyes kind of person!    Apparently the mutant bit is true - so far I have yet to come into my werewolf or vampiric powers - but the witchy one might be true.....

It is a bit more complicated, some hairs are are natural light ginger and others golden blonde (I also have some grey hair - age), the combination reacts to light so in shade/indoors it looks like a very very light ginger, but normally looks more blonde outside or during the summer as the red and blonde lightens. The same dilemma as having hazel eyes...

Have you ever dyed your hair blonde? I ask because I've got that type of blonde hair that with certain blonde dyes will go orange, my Mum says it must be cause I've got red tinge but not sure.

I wonder if that happens for you? I love strawberry blondes I think any kid I have will be that cause my partners a red head

I know we've moved past this discussion, but I just thought of another way around this problem that sounds kind of fun.

 

How about roleplaying an inquisitor that just cannot handle combat for whatever reason?  Too scared, too self-conscious, or just unwilling to get dirty?  Then you can hang back and cower like Levi while your companions do all the dirty work.

 

I had a dream about this, actually.  I was in my game as myself, and I basically did the Levi thing the whole way through.

I think you'll find a lot of us play self inserts at least for the first PTs... some actually consider a little piece of themselves in every character they play

My canon Shepard in Mass Effect started off as a self-insert (because space!), but over the course of the three games she started to develop into her own person. All of my canon Dragon Age PC's are characters I've made up and developed from scratch. I actually find it a lot easier to play Dragon Age that way, but it's maybe because it reminds me of d&d a little, and I'm used to role-playing in that. Although I will say that it's really hard to create a character that doesn't have a little bit of yourself in them. It's how you connect, you know? It's the same with writing. You put a little bit of yourself into everything you write, but you also take a little bit of what you write into yourself.

I have never personally used a self-insert in any RPG game. To be honest, I would be crap in Thedas and since I don't want the Inquisition to burn to the ground along with everything else, I think it is for the best that I never attempt one.
