That's why I referred only to elves in my initial post.

It would step on toes... but Cullen wasn't initially considered to be a romance. Perhaps they'll take the plunge...

Personally, I don't want them to do it, cause I do think they'd screw it up. I think the difference in religions will be noted, but not made a focus of the relationship.

I'm only going to say this once. I think you all are going to be very happy with how Cullen was done.

LOL Promise?

How can you tell though? I mean, I know you played for a few hours, but surely there wasn't THAT much flirting and romantic development going on so rapidly in such a short time?

I think it might be a tad different in the romance, since the Templar Order doesn't necessarily have a very good track record with the Dalish, as you are fully aware, especially for Dalish mages. I think it won't be as easy to do as it would with a Circle Magi. Now, I doubt they'd deal with religious conversion, cause the very concept itself is stepping on way too many toes and would just be an entire mess.

I just really doubt they would spend that many words on something that is such a wild card for what beliefs our PC may carry.

I wish Cullen was a woman. Just, the whole idea gives me pleasure you would not... could not believe... The golden, flowing hair. Those cheekbones... *starts drooling*

Has someone been watching a certain sci-fi series lately?

(Which I shall leave unnamed to avoid spoilers) :P

Maybe it's Serault...

That would be hilarious!

I really hope I like Cullen. My tendency to romance women approaches comedy. I had to resort to mods to find a male LI I liked.

Indeed. And was Eric playing a Human/Elf female?

lol You have four male LI options and don't think you'll like one? You're picky!

One of the playtesting thingys in London. I was invited, but I turned it down because I didn't wanna spoil myself.

Let's not plunge any further into "I played the game already neener neener" talk. The rest of us still have 16+ days.

That too. Plus, the concept itself is riddled with a minefield of issues that ripple through the real world. I don't see them doing it, and I don't want them doing it, cause I honestly think they would not do it well.

Agree. It's such a mine field, I would expect them to either avoid it, or skirt it very very shallowly.

You are a stronger person than I. Granted, some ass already spoiled the hell out of me. But nonetheless, I'd have killed to play some mage combat!

The Redcliffe situation sounds really fluid; they may have been showing us a worst case (or, scarey thought, best case) situation. From what they've shown us about the War Table, some missions get a lot more enthusiasm or support from one advisor over another; it's possible Leliana opposed the mission or the timing and was sent anyway. Or they may all end badly if you end up in that quest line.

Yeah, that too! I just really want to try out the Fade Step spell so freaking bad. It's gonna be my bread and butter for all my mages.

It does look awesome lol Reminds me of Merrill's underground move.

It was the first few hours so I noped right out of it! I ain't touching the game until it's in my hands with an Inquisitor I've spent 5+ hours perfecting, LOL!

It's going to be a special moment, too. I wouldn't want to meet the game surrounded by strangers in a strange environment.

I didn't like Carth, Alistair, Fenris, or Anders. Garrus and Kaidan worked on a technical level, but either didn't fit Shepard or I didn't see them romantically. Anomen and Jacob are...well, I have standards. So the best I've been able to do is "okay I guess" with Seb and Zev. My main romances are women. And I'd like that to change for once.

Exactly! I want no disruptions when I finally do this. My Inquisitor needs to be just right for meeting Cullen!

Yeah, and I laughed my ass off when Cameron accidentally used it at one point, and Vivienne shot off like a freaking rocket halfway across the map and almost fell off a cliff!

Ouch. I feel for you :(. A similar think happened to me this year for one TV show's final episode <_<.
