My favorite line from DA2 was her "Blessed are those who stand before the corrupt and the wicked, and do not falter!"

Love this. I think my favorites are when she actually sounds sane, showing that she really thinks she's the good guy saving the world from the threat of evil. "If you cannot tell me another way, do not brand me a tyrant!"

I feel the same. I certainly hope Cullen's romance won't progress that fast. It felt like almost everything was rushed in DA2. I remember romancing Alistair in DAO, and how the whole thing evolved.....

 

Yea Alistair's and really all of the romances from Origins progressed really nicely. They felt natural, and once I reached the maximum approval rating I felt like I understood their personalities and where they were coming from

speaking of witch I had a weird dream last night  that we all got early access to the game and then i get to make my character and as soon as I have "submitted" it the game crashed  and I couldn't get it to start up again.... man I was soooo pisssseeedd

That was funny, hearing M/Hawke flirting with Meredith...I loved trying to give her headaches. I got the Orsino flirt in-game and was creeped out by him...he always gave me the heebie geebies. I KNEW Meredith was wacko...I was hoping Orsino wasn't.

This has been a hell of a ride. I'm so grateful to the Cullen thread for being here when I finally came looking for a BSN home.  Never had an experience like this connected to the development of any other game, and DAI is going to always be special because of this place, the whole Cullen fandom, and the BioWare devs.  The next phase...the one where we lose our minds over the actual game (ahhhhh! so close so close!)...is going to be awesome and I can't wait to compare notes w/ all of you guys. *hugs all around* I love you all. 

 

You were in my dream last night! And it isn't as creepy as it sounds! We were at a gaming convention and had just attended a panel and all the characters in the game were real people that looked exactly like they do in game and they were sitting on those fold-able chairs with their names on the back like they have on movie sets. How do I know it was you? Well, you had your BSN avatar floating beside your head.

 

Any who, I was waiting outside in a field (I know, who has a gaming convention in a field, right?) And I see you emerging from over a small hill with a folded up chair raised triumphantly above your head and a big grin on your face, "I got his chair!" you exclaimed with glee and I was all like, "Oh my god! You're so lucky!" Then we enthusiastically unfolded the chair and just stared at the large bold print on the back 'CULLEN' and it ended with a fist bump.

I think everyone on this thread is becoming so giddy with excitement that we are racing through this thread at top speed. You can't leave for an hour without becoming 2 pages behind!! The Cullen love is practically pouring out of us!

I'm still worrying that it will take a month to download for me and then it won't play, I have so many assurances from my friend that it WILL play but until I actually launch it and have it work, I'm not ready to be convinced lol.

Hmm, I personally always felt they were lacking in DAO as well. That's the whole reason I made IRS to begin with, I just felt like after the initial romance scene the romance was non-existent until the landsmeet (at least with Alistair). So I found myself being careful about when I got the scene to make it cover more of the game.

 

I hope there is a nice balance between DAO and DA2 style when it comes to the romances in DAI.

Lol well let me be the other person who tells u, that the game will work on ur PC, or whatever platform you are playing on. If you on pc and if you upgraded  it in the last 2 years that you should be fine to *at least * run it on low/ medium specs if you haven't upgraded ur pc in ... idk 10/20 years or so.. then you might have a problem...

Man, that not a dream, that was a nightmare.

 

But speaking of dreams, I had dream where my Inquisitor went on a mission with Cullen. It was Cullen's personal quest, something like companions have in the previous DA games.
