Mmh, to me they look especially bad ^^; And I don't know even if that's corncrow or mudbun style since they both look same in the front..

They're cornrows

I had a PC Inquisitor Edition pre-ordered the minute they went online, but I recently canceled mine in favor of the Digital Deluxe too.
I saw some photos of the physical Inquisitor's Edition stuff and it looked really cheap.
I've always regretted not getting the Signature Edition of DA2 because I've played the CRAP out of it for years across two platforms, and I'll never have the exclusive Signature Edition weapons... but the Inquisitor's Edition of DAI doesn't have any exclusive digital stuff, so I'm good.
Which country are you in? I know in the UK we didn't know for a while iff the PC version would come with the deluxe and pre-order bonuses. I eventually got a reply from GS to say it would come both. Hopefully i'm not really out of the loop and that has since changed.
I get why people wouldn't bother though. Epic editions are expensive, this one especially so and only a few have anything you would display (I intend to mount and frame the tarot cards). My husband and sons have a few but it's the first time Bioware have produced one (not counting ToR, my husband wanted and got that one). I did have a wobble about getting it when they announced the special edition of the art book. The shipping costs more than the book does and with the Prima guide as well I couldn't justify over £200 on one game. Then I said balls to it and pre-ordered anyway. I'm weak....and now poor.
Still wish they had produced one for ME3. I really thought they would have done... ![]()
They're cornrows

I see. Meh on the front they look horrible, the texture is issue yet again. At this point I wonder if I have to go with bald.
So, this is kind of interesting, esp since we've talked about a couple times around these parts. Despite DA:O tell us the contrary, according to DG apparently Thedas really *is* intended to be a pretty sexist place. Whelp. There you go then.
Well, the DA world is sexist to either gender in various parts, so in a way DAO wasn't lying when it said genders were treated generally the same.
I can't believe that bastard isn't censored but the P word for an alcoholic beverage is. ![]()
YES!!! I love this post!!! I wish more ppl would talk about this in schools and educate ppl. When I first found out I was bi, I was in my teen years and when I told my mom that I like girls as well as boys she didn't know how to respond to that, I guess she didn't understand it at the time... but then she came to terms with it and supported me no matter what.
When i tried to open up to my friends about it, they treated me like I was some sort of an abomination or something... like I couldn't even compliment a girl on her appearance cause she thought that I want to hump her.. it was so frustrating because I couldn't be open to anyone about who I really am without being judged ... I guess a lot of it has to do with religion and why they don't educate ppl about it... many ppl in my country are pretty religious if you talk to someone about those things you can guarantee yourself a ticket to hell

And hey if that's the case then hell seems like a much more fun place

You should have tried going to a Catholic school in Glasgow in the 1970s....
I was pretty much regarded as weird, but *not* because of my sexuality, at least not directly. I was doing the 'I will never get married' bit, and they *thought* it was because of my sexuality, but it was because somewhere along the line I had become a raging feminist. Back then, that meant everyone thought you were a lesbian anyway. Sigh. My dad actually asked me when I was 17 if I was gay (because I'd never brought a boy home) and I said no, but if he'd let me sleep with any guy I brought home, I would bring home as many as he wanted. He declined the offer.
I really don't care who anyone else wants to sleep with as long as children and animals are not involved, and they don't get nasty when they find out I don't want to sleep with them. I find it odd that something that is such a small part of who we are has become so 'important' in the grand scheme of things, when it's not at all.
Lovely writing Boom!
Guys/gals, 2 weeks and 1 day!
Santa Claus qunari?

Wow. I must confess to slowly losing faith in him as a great world-builder. Yes he's still an awesome writer, especially when it comes to dialogue, but I'm less and less impressed with the creation of Thedas itself. It's incredibly derivative and almost completely lacking in imagination; almost none of the great institutions are questioned or challenged or altered, and ideas like sexism and homophobia are simply carried over from our world and plopped down into the world of Thedas. It's downright lazy writing is what it is!
TBH, I don't even think he's all that great a writer. Maybe slightly better than average, but not by much. When I read his books, I was very disappointed in the quality of them. *Shrug* Maybe it's just me. I don't think they've misled anyone about Thedas tho - the word 'generally' in the text about equality was the big giveaway. I'm 'generally' equal to a man in this world, but that normally works out as legal equality, as opposed to practical equality, where in many workplaces we are still fighting to be paid the same money as a man doing the same job. The quasi-mediaeval setting of the game led me to expect certain mores and attitudes to be in place. I'm not at all bothered by it. If anything it makes my female Wardens/Heroes feel a bit more like me - been fighting that fight since the 1970s, and I am named after a great-aunt who was part of a movement here to get equality for all. ![]()
I need to learn to stay out of the main forum. There are threads and people there that I find so irritating that it makes me just want to respond with trollishness on the fly.
Yeah, there are some folks I would like to troll. If i come back from the dentists in pain this afternoon, I might do it for some light relief!
Awwww.....I love this fic.
NOW I can't stop wondering how BW really wrote his romance in DAI.
NEW GAMEPLAY
Well, since I couldn't understand the Italian past words I recognised (like the name of the game and its engine, hehe), I focused on the look of the character more than anything. And let me just say ... I know what race Dorian will be romancing eventually, lol.

I tend to feel exactly the opposite than this. The fact we're offered a world where traditional human frailties and failings exist makes for a world that's more believable, more deep and meaningful. It's a chance to directly challenge those notions, to create true heroes that fly in the face of every single narrowminded prig who tells us along the way that we can't, and, boy, does it feel awesome as we go along.
So my Warden was the youngest daughter, not a son, and she saved the world. My Hawke was a mage and a homosexual, and he changed the world forever. And my Inquisitor will most likely be an elf, and she's going to show them all that elves still belong, that racism and bigotry can't hold someone down for long. Personally, I can not wait for that adventure.
Spoiler
I'm still out of likes. >.< And they\re just not coming back. ![]()
Anyway, LIKE!!
That's a fun way to look at the Arishok.
And he doesn't look bad either.........I've just remembered how much I'm gonna miss the DA2 Qunari.

I adore Aimo.
I always get super excited and happy whenever I see her art on my dash.
Having black sclera as an option for a Qunquisitor would be rad.
.........I've just remembered how much I'm gonna miss the DA2 Qunari.
yes, they look much better than in DAO and DAI- and Arishok is looking best
"Santa Qun is coming to town!"
I can actually sing that in my head.

With Jory telling us he didn't think women were permitted to join the grey wardens and then Murdock saying he didn't think they made women grey wardens not to mention you can't talk to Berwick with out the chance on him making a sexist comment it was kind of obvious Thedas was still a pretty sexist place and that's only mentioning a few. But tbh I don't mind it, we're always given the chance to put them in their place and I really wouldn't expect a setting loosely based on medeival times to be anything but sexist.
I am all for the hero having an 'In your face' victory moment. That's why I like playing elves and mages so much...you want to supress my kind well now what do you think when I saved your butt ![]()
