Won't it be nice once we know one way or another? It's so awesome that they told us he is an LI but it would be great to know for a FACT if he is or isn't a companion. That would help the GW people and maybe even the fans of mr.flails

 

It would be nice, but confirming he isn't a companion means they confirm that there are NPC romances. Who's the other one? If Cullen isn't a companion, then what is he? Is he worth it? What else could those zots have been spent on? FAN SERVICE. DRAGON EFFECT. BAAAAAAH

Sounds like we should put it all on there, if we can. My one reservation is that that's what we tried last time... and it quickly became out of date. But, then that's why I was chosen to have my special Cullen archiving Super Power, I suppose!

I guess we could just put in the timeless stuff that won't become obsolete or hard to maintain?

As long as you're around, you can update the fanfic post when people let you know they have a new one. but I do like the idea of putting them on the first page so that people don't have to go digging through the pages to try to find them.

You know I really don't know what to think about who'll be npc and who will be a companion. But the sentence "Your followers will be leaders" still rings in my ears.

I can see Cullen be a leader of some renegade Templars, but Feathers .. I don't know, I like that guy don't get me wrong. The concept picture of him walking away and pulling off his necklace seems like he is done with the Wardens and he looks so tired. So who is he leading if not the Wardens? Unless he also has some splinter group following him.

I like everything you guys make, so I'm not sure what I would suggest. I say that mainly because any suggestion from me would probably be "post that pink fur Cullen at the very top! 10 times!" So it's safer to say the first thing.

Did they say "Your followers will be leaders"? I think that got down graded to "best of the best". Otherwise, I do agree. The Grey Warden's concept art makes me think he's a bit like Anders, on the run from the Wardens for... something.

I completely agree. I have far too much faith in the writers for them to pull that kind of crap with this game, especially with all the extra time they've added with the push back on the release date. I am expecting a lot of care and attention with this game in every aspect of it, but namely with the characters and story since that is what the franchise is known for.

Very much agreeing with you on that :] And M Laidlaw was in such a relaxed and funny mood on that panel that I would not worry. Lovely to see you again.

 

Hello new Cullen thread!    I stopped trying to keep up with the DA2 thread ages ago (I just can't get through that many pages a day lol), but some of you know me from ages ago, and know I'm a diehard Cullen fan.

 

Just stopping by to say congrats on the new thread, and to our favorite Templar for making it into the 3rd game (As an LI no less! )!!!

If Cullen turns out being a NPC, I'm not going to panic.  There must be ways they could make that just as special and significant as follower romances, maybe even better.  I think I'm going to hogtie my inner pessimist and just trust the DA team to deliver on this. Yep, just stop wringing my hands and have faith for once.  Wish me luck, because this is new territory for me.
