Cheesy or not cheesy, both types have its plus and minus.

 

I like Alistair's 'cheesy' romance because he's the caring one, the one who just so huggly (does this word exist?) and cuddle. It's two people comforting each other while facing literally either the end of the world, either the end of at least one of them. Encouraging each other, keeping an eye on each other. Be with one another until the very end.

I like Fenris' subtle ways, since it means that every single thing he said, he really means it.

 

Wonder what Cullen's will be... He had live through many things, so I don't expect him to be cheesy early on. It's like allowing him time and space to actually take down the protective barrier he might put around him, by himself.

I have seen so much Anders hate, that I almost forgot there are also many people who love him. Nice to see I'm surrounded my Anders fans.

 

I'm not a huge fan of his and I had done both letting him go/kill him at the end, but never tried his romance. So, how is it? Did you also get that last kiss before the final battle?

Haven't been able to keep up because NaNo so I skimmed through this morning (sorry if I missed anything, and I didn't like as much as I should have ((SORRY)))

 

I went to look up Dragon's Dogma, and my google search helpfully supplied Dragons from How to Train Your Dragon (so I think we can imagine what I google around these parts lol).

 

Second, Google says today is my birthday!  Woo!  (I actually preordered Inquisition for my birthday).  But if today is my birthday, I should totally get another game I wont be able to play until next year lol.

 

Third... I miss you guys!  and Cullen.... that is all!

Tbh there's only a few characters in the DA games that I can wholeheartedly say I HATE:

  - Sister Petrice

  - Goldanna

  - Sister Petrice

 

 

 

There's just so much complexity to most characters that it's hard to COMPLETELY hate them.

 

 

 

Edit: Did I mention that I hate Sister Petrice?

I bought a PS4 this morning and did my pre-order! Only got the regular version, as they were sold out of everything else, but that's okay, still get the pre-order bonus, and the only other thing I wanted was the soundtrack and I think I can get that on iTunes later. So, I just need to set the console up and get it running. Then the 2WW (2 week wait). In the meantime, my hubby and I are working on a DAI scene in LEGO! I can't wait to show you when it's done. Directly related to our favorite (ex) templar.

Tbh there's only a few characters in the DA games that I can wholeheartedly say I HATE:

  - Sister Petrice

  - Goldanna

  - Sister Petrice

 

 

 

There's just so much complexity to most characters that it's hard to COMPLETELY hate them.

 

Agree for Sister Petrice, but not much for Goldanna. Sister Petrice is one reason why zealots can be very... dangerous...

she's not Alistair's sister. Alistair's mom is an elf (Fiona) who's still alive, a grey warden but at the same time Grand Enchanter at Circle of Magi at the time of Templar-Mage war. So she's alive at least after DA2, and Goldanna's just paid to actually said nothing about Alistair not being her half brother.

I have once. I hoped that would show some depth of her character and would make me maybe like her... it didn't. She's still intresting one, to be so obnoxiously scheming and ambitious. I hope she will be in DAI although it's not very likely.

No I never did.. I loathed her too much to ever make that choice. Did you encounter her after that quest then?

Well *cough* I'm biased, but no I do not think it is anywhere near as good as Fenris' Anders is an awesome, conflicted, tragic character, but his romance is not so great imo. It basically ends in Act 2, unlike Fenris's, which continues through Act 3. There is no yummy kiss at the end, either. I was very disappointed by the whole thing tbh!

Yes you encounter her in the Chantry after she got Saemus killed and you protect her from the qunaris. She will thank you after wards and tell that Elthina kicked her out of Kirkwall's Chantry but she will go elsewhere and try to influence fraction inside of Chantry in way of her views. She also promises that if Hawke needs help in future if she is in position to give it to them she will.

It hasn't been 100% confirmed, but the devs have come as close to confirming as they can without flat out saying it. It comes from the epilogue of the Calling. That being said, unclear if Goldanna knows anything at all.

There is actually a kiss if you rivalmance him and persuaded him to help you fight the mages, although it is sort of like a goodbye kiss, it´s implied that he either takes suicide or is made tranquil. Rivalmancing Anders with an aggressive pro templar Hawke is so trainwrecky,I love it

just spent the past 3.5 HOURS catching up XD you guys DO move fast! And now that I'm caught up I have to leave for my train but it was nice to have something to do while I loitered at the library. Does anyone else zoom past pics while in public? I know I shouldn't care, its not like I know any of these people, but drooling over cullen pics in public
