That's true...And now Cullen has a sexy toothgap. xDActually the devs interrogated the rest of us all FBI style with the bright lights and Smoking Man in the corner... asked us questions about what you liked the most and what would make you rage. Then they had you tailed for good measure. THEN they started writing. The whole game is tailored just for you!

He probably won't considering the likelihood he's the Arishok now in at least most people's world state and probably needed in Par Vollen/Seheron.
Maybe DA4 or 5?

I don't remember FPJ explicitly saying those lines where Bull's -- just that it's mild compared to what he says.
Even still, perhaps it's best we not overreact until we have context?

Quite. He didn't actually say, "Yes, that's Bull".

Oh Bull? Yeah, I listened to his interview last night.
And they are, aren't they?! I'm still kinda sad there isn't a slightly larger version of the Ghilan'nain one, but I'm still definitely going for that one.
Oi. Having second thoughts about the dwarf-IB as my first PT. Maybe my dwarf will have to climb the Wall after all.

Actually he seemed so difficult for me at first. Then I started to understand him... or tried to, lol! Remember the banter between him and Leliana? Leliana saw him picking flowers. *giggle* I wasn't sure I heard that right at first. ![]()

Quite. He didn't actually say, "Yes, that's Bull".
He wouldn't confirm nor deny it, but he said that some of Bull's dialogue has been "leaked", the ESRB thingy was referenced as the "leaked" dialogue, and he commented unasked on bouncing t*ts. It was glorious. Def. think its the Bull. ![]()

I always do a self-insert on my first PTs.
I was more curious to what you think of creating two identically looking characters: Hawke (if possible) and Inquisitor.
(sorry for the delay)
Oooh that's an interesting idea! Why not! But not on my first playthrough since my headcanon for that one is a male Hawke warrior and the quizzy is a female Trevelyan mage. But interesting idea, that'll be awesome. Especially if we can gear them the same armour.

Same here.
I'm seriously worried about the graphics. Some facial features and hair could be more elaborate.
Idk, so far, we've only seen the Pre-Alpha Build. Maybe when the game comes out, the characters will seem a lot more developed.
What keeps my hopes up is that Greg Ellis's voice compensates for a lot of things. His tone is so flexible it allows for Cullen to sound alternatively serious (like a commander should) and sassy (when relaxed and playful). It's a delight just listening to him talk.
But still, hope Bioware upgraded the graphics, or shots will be fired.
I've seen some gameplays so I know what to expect on the graphic. It's not on the graphic that I will complain, since even on Low Resolution it seems nice enough. The one thing that may spoil everything is the storyline. I play dragon age for that reason, for the story it tells, for the companions and people surrounding the story, for the romance, for the dark side of heroic deeds. For the simple epicness (this word exist??), and for once the PC can die at the end.
I'm not waiting for something perfect in term of graphic, combat, gameplay mechanic, but I'm waiting for a good and sound story, told tastefully and with all shades of grey instead of usual black and white "good or evil". I have an extremely high expectation for the Romance and Friendship arcs of ALL companions.
There are games who sells the graphic, the open-world gameplay concept (Skyrim) that up to today I still enjoy playing. There, you can be anything you want (the Dragonborn recognition & dragon attacks won't initiate unless you activate certain quests). But I love the shades of Grey told in the stories of Bioware's Dragon Age. No evil is purely evil as no heroic deed is purely good.

To the Anders bit, as GamerDMD has said he is a complicated character, however I do also think he was also a rushed romance in ACT 3. A lot of the romance in ACT three seemed rushed and did not seem too fit in with the game or setting. My point is he has a lot less romatic content in ACT three. Just like how you had no idea, what the plot during act three was about short of thing and the what the **** episode wth Orsino even, when you side with the Mages was put in because the developers wanted two boss battles. Plus I found it odd my mage did not know the ingredients for the supposed potion he was going to make.
I like to think that my Hawke was just as clueless when it came to mages as Cullen was. If he can get away with it then my Hawke certainly can as well. ![]()

I head cannoned he was working for my Amells to help find new recruits for the Wardens. Thats the only way I can explain his lack of IQ in DA2 in knowing we were mages.I like to think that my Hawke was just as clueless when it came to mages as Cullen was. If he can get away with it then my Hawke certainly can as well.

Gah...I can't keep up with the thread, so this may be wayyy. behind.
I don't care if the Cullen romance has a bit of cheese, but I personally like angst.
More than anything tho...I just want hims to...growl a bit when he first kisses me. That's fair, right? ![]()

You have to mod your own game. On xbox, I just use a save file manager and swap the heads of the characters. On PC it's probably more complex. But what you're doing is just literally playing through the vanilla scene but with different heads/armors.
Correct me if I'm wrong R2, as I know very little about PC modding of DA2 ^^
Aaand I'm outta likes....
Thanks for informing me.
Sorry for being a little terse earlier. I was going to kickboxing. Basically, it's like MMG/Artemis said. There's no toolkit for DA2, so you can't make up new scenes, just reskin existing ones. It's fairly straight forward to swap out the heads and bodies of your followers for a given save game and just play the game that way. I can give you pointers if you're interested in playing around with it for PC. You can also change some NPCs and reskin the weapons and do a few other fancy things. These are less straightforward.

He easily could. Greg Ellis said a given session is about 4 hours, and he's been in the booth a number of times. I forget the exact number.

Exactly. Cullen should be "pent up" if you catch my drift.
They should avoid making his romance (mannerisms, dialogue, "play", etc.) anywhere close to how Alistair's was. It would be too… expected?
I just don't see this Cullen acting like a lovesick pup, and I don't want to. Some cheese is absolutely acceptable, but I'd like to see Cullen more demanding than Alistair.
