Lol, I adore him really. It doesn't matter what he looks like when it boils down to it... and he's definitely not hideous, it's just gonna take a bit of getting used to his new look. 

 

... He looks a lot less like his DA2 model than Cass and Varric's do.

 

I'm not sure. I feel like Cass and Varric look significantly different -- especially Varric. His nose/brow looks way different to me.

 

I figure Cullen just got a bit of a makeover when switching to the new engine. I think it's also hard to tell how much he truly looks like his DA2 version from that picture since he's not looking at us straight on or even close-up.

 

He also went under a drastic change from DA:O to DA2, so... kind of the norm for him now haha

Yeah, I didn't think that last shot was very flattering to most of those present, which is why I'm not worried at all about Cullen. In-game, in his own cutscenes, etc, I have every faith they'll have worked frostbite magic.

I agree although I rather liked him and he looks rather imposing here the quality of the picture made his face look way too even,without proper shading so that we could identify whether he's more rugged or whether he has scars(apart from the lip scar Lola noticed) and other imperfections that would make him look more realistic...

That's cause they actually changed stuff, like his chin and hair. Wonder why? 

 

If you zoom in you can still see his stylised stubble... just from that distance you can barely see it at all, lol. Hell, at least they didn't give him mutton chops like I was originally convinced that they had!

I just wanted to say that I always liked his chin from dao, and it seems they go for smaller and smaller with each installment. Soon it will completely disappear

Gosh, I think they all look awesome. There is something great with this final screen (and I don't mean last supper thingy). I kinda like that Cassandra is suspicious about our pc. I know s/he is a special snowflake but I am very curious about the whole fade thing. Sorry, can't word myself properly

Okay, so I watched the trailer again where I can see it without just blurs and me guessing at whose who and...I miss Cullen's hair to admit..his ruffled curls. And his beautiful jawline. But, other than that, he looks like himself, just older and more dignified as though he knows what he wants in the world now. He doesn't look like he is a stuttering, shy man anymore. What a pleasant surprise it would be though if the little but of his past personality came out (assuming he's changed in his ideals and all) the closer you got to him.

Also, anyone else notice that when Varric was talking his eyes couldn't seem to focus? Haha, he came off cross eyed to me.

I realize I never said anything about my thoughts on anything in the trailer besides Cullen! 

 

The game looks amazing! 

 

And my poor, poor Inquisitor is going to be so scared by all this! Demons and monsters and beasties she can handle, but the possibility that she has been transformed by this strange experience? That's going to throw her for a major loop!

Honestly, the cinematics of Cass shoving her sword in the Inquisitor's face? Lovely. Can't wait for that to happen in game. The idea of building her trust is appealing.

Perhaps because Varric and Cass are far more popularly recognized/known than Cullen, I should think, so more liberty was taken for his first time getting spruced up for a "noteworthy" role, as others would see it. I think we Cullen fans are in the minority for holding set visual memories of him in game.

Cullen resembles a young Robert Redford I think. Or his wax figure
