A friend of mine used to call everyone's eye colour with a name, like "sky blue", "sea", "forest", and hazel eyes he calls "honey coloured". I was thinking at that actually. (My dark brown eyes are Nutella Coloured when he's not so happy and Molten Chocolate when I'm not antagonizing him. Either way it's something good to eat).

Yeah, I know. I'll never forget my second DA2 playthrough where suddenly I noticed that Norah, the barmaid at the Hanging Man, was my Hawke's doppelganger. I honestly thought it was some trick at first, that the NPC was intended to look like however your PC looked for some nefarious purpose. LOL Nope. I'm just not very creative, it seems. 

 

My very first PT of Dragon Age.  I started with a warrior Cousland and gave her that pretty double braid-bun hairstyle.  Looked noble, fit under a helmet, thought I was good to go...until I got to that wench, Anora, and she had my Warden's hair! 

 

I've replayed my warrior Cousland who becomes queen many times, but I've never been able to give her that hairstyle since.

My very first PT of Dragon Age.  I started with a warrior Cousland and gave her that pretty double braid-bun hairstyle.  Looked noble, fit under a helmet, thought I was good to go...until I got to that wench, Anora, and she had my Warden's hair! 

 

I've replayed my warrior Cousland who becomes queen many times, but I've never been able to give her that hairstyle since.

 

Lanaya's have the same hairstyle. I like that one, and actually I like Anora's voice. She always end up married to Alistair if my Warden does not romance Alistair.

 

 

I'm trying to write my first ever fan fiction. It's initially about Cullen accompanying a captured Dalish Archer/Hedge Mage to the Chantry, but finally I'm focusing more to the Dalish girl character. It's hard really to convey an idea to written words. It won't be romance story in any case.

 

I need some helps, since some of you write REALLY good fanfics, do you have any advices for beginner fanfic writer? (Where to host the story, any advice really).

Since we're talking about first PTs, I'm having a really tough time deciding whether or not I should make a mage my first PT of Inquisition.. I know it seems obvious because of Cullen, but in the previous games I always started with a warrior or rogue because I could have an unbiased opinion on the mage/templar conflict or at least form my own opinions without hypocrisy. I've been brooding over this decision for at least two weeks now.... HELP!!!

Fanfic.net is probably the easiest and has by far the most traffic from readers.

AO3 has the most comprehensive tagging system, altho as a result the tags are not standardized. It's also more forgiving of mature themes (you can also include inline pics within the fic).

tumblr is... tumblr. YMMV

I've never used LJ or DW, but I know some folks prefer them.

deviantart is mostly art, but also has a lot of fic. It also has some nice groups where you can post DA fic to spread the Word of Cullen.
 
Personally, I post on ff.n, ao3 and devart.

I knooww me too. And I like to make the decisions that feel natural to me because of that... I'm afraid playing a mage on the first run may make me question my initial opinion of things because I'd be like, "hmmmm but would a mage really want this templar to go free when she's forced into a role of 'captivity'?"

I usually end up being partial to the mages (because equality and whatnot) so I might be okay with sticking with a mage... I'm just nervous.

My problems with the mages class this time around is that they nerfed them to a degree, to the point I wonder why were locked up away from everyone if we're so dangerous than please show us in the game that we can be dangerous.
