Tbh if Varric popped out looking like this I'm sure Cullen will have some great detail on his face too. Unless most the budget went into Varric alone.

Sorry, I keep staring at the characters and all because I cant get over Cullen's look. And after contemplation,(and maybe denial ) I decided that I believe its just the lighting and stuff, because other people do look pretty derpy in there.

 

And everyone keeps saying about this toll our inquisitor will have when closing the Veil tears (this toll: I don't know what that is since I just came back) and I think that they may be sacrificing pieces of themselves when closing it or something. It seems like they were created in the Fade. Or perhaps are an "abomination"/have a spirit inside them that's keeping them alive.

I love that the Inquisitor says that line. It's like, regardless of their status they're all a very mismatched eclectic bunch of individuals that you'd never see working together normally.

I was surprised they revealed all companions too.

 

When the Last Supper scene first started and panning out I was yelling "THEY WOULDN'T!" until, well, they did.

Did you guys already know that the Inquisitor (apparently) came out of the Fade? Was that something that was told when I was gone?

 

It's new information, which also makes me wonder, did they come back out of the Fade or come from the Fade?

 

Would be interesting to have a tomato surprise where you discover that you're not really you, but were really killed along with everyone else and just being possessed by an amnesiac Spirit of Whatever...

 

Of course, after Wynne, Justice!Kristoff and Anders!Justice in the last three games and Evangeline and Cole (or whatever he is) in the novels and now as one of our followers, they probably don't want to repeat that too much otherwise it'll get a little bit stale.

I wondered that too. I can certainly see Cullen being a tad suspicious about anything/anyone that comes walking out from the Fade.

Bad. Very bad. I assume much quick-talking will be needed to keep Cullen happy. I think Cole could give two hoots, nor would he truly understand.

I could see Cullen having a pretty serious problem with Cole.

 

As I was reading Asunder and imagining Cole as a companion, I was thinking my Inquisitor could probably get Cole and Cullen to get along. That Cullen would initially be wary and suspicious, but that my Inquisitor would be able to convince Cullen that Cole was a lost soul in need of guidance rather than a monster, and Cullen's protective instincts would eventually kick in.

 

Then I got to the epilogue, and I... didn't think so anymore. 

 

Unless the writers backtrack on the ending of Asunder significantly, I'm not just wondering how Cullen will react - I'm concerned my Inquisitor herself will have trouble relating positively to Cole.
