Yeah, I was really worried about that at first but then again,no way they would include that part right? So I wonder what´s actually included, maybe it´s stops when you get to Val Royeaux?
I believe someone mentioned that they were not to go to VR, but I remember one video did indeed at least go through that intro bit to VR. Looked gorgeous.

I've managed to stay pretty unspoiled at the moment but there's always massive temptation to watch the videos and get a better look at the game and once you open that box you can see or read just about anything. Already I feel I know more about the beginning than I ideally would like to. The thread here is as always really good about spoilering things and trying to respect everyone's needs but come Thursday or the the xbox early bird thing, I think we'll be at risk even here of people who maybe don't post regularly getting caught up in their excitement and inadvertently dropping some info.

Haha I remember when I said that I wouldn´t spoil the prologue at all,the rest of the game being sort of spoiled was fine but I didn´t want to spoil the absolute beginning...suffice to say I´m terrible at staying away from spoilers ![]()
But that one Templar in that decision picture is wearing a vial of red lyrium or at least it looks like that to me.
Honestly I don't think so, I might be totally wrong, but look at that guy. He looks jacked up! Dark eyes and his face is covered in something, I hope it's just blood from fighting for him and not some growth (but then, why is there none on the armor?). And then you have Samson .... Really? There couldn't have been a better Templar to represent them? Probably just a scene, but I definitely would have used a less sleazy guy.
FWIW, I think this is a shard of red lyrium around their necks, and we've seen it on all the red templars so far... including the behemoths. So, agree, I think the red templars are bad juju. Hence my concern if they're somehow also part of the templar faction we were just asked to "choose." Hmm...

What? We haven't had any naked Cullen in awhile? Well, here you go then! ![]()

Also, I got my Justin Bieber-esque Cullen shirt from the BW store today! :happy dance: tee hee heee!!
I really want the racerback tank but I am slightly dubious about what size to get, especially because the shipping will cost me an arm and a leg. It would be cool if they had a measurement guide on their site

Yeah, hard to say. My regular tshirt isn't as big and boxy as I expected. It's kind of thin material like my I dragon Alistair shirt and just not as slim fitting as the Alistair, lady-fit shirt was. Also, you pay shipping if you return it, I just read. So, FWIW!

They show this for the size chart for the tank (sizing in inches):

So, that said, I don't think there will be any age difference reaction, because your age is not set for any background, and there's no way for the game to recognize what you roleplay your Inquisitor's age to be. You could be a lot younger than Cullen, but you could also be the same age as him, and you could even play your Inquisitor to be a lot older than him, and he would have no way to "know" that.
My first playthrough is always with a rogue and is usually my cannon (besides dragon age 2 where I decided in the end that I liked that little sh*t of a brother far too much to let him die so I decided on a mage for my cannon) so when I write I generally have a human rogue inquisitor in mind and I always think to myself when I write a scene with Cullen "would he have a problem with her being a decade younger than him?"
I'm not sure how much the dialogue options will allow it, but I'd rather see a reaction to my Inquisitor's personality (playful, reserved, flirty, thoughtful, etc). If we're able to determine how mature or worldly or experienced (for example) our PC is would be more the things I'd want companions, advisors & LI to react to rather than something static like age (if that makes sense). Of course, my husband is a decade older than I am and it hasn't been an issue for us, so it might just be that from where I'm coming from I wouldn't think about an age difference being an issue (except, I guess, maybe for Blackwall, but that would be more a time-left-until-Calling thing than pure numbers).
I just want to say, as a Solas gal, I've never been that into Cullen although he has always intrigued me.
Then I watched the videos with him playing chess. All of a sudden my pants went missing!
I'm romancing Solas first and planned on a Mage Qunari female romancing Blackwell 2nd. However, after seeing more of Cullen, My qunari might have to sit on the side lines till 3rd play through so my human female archer can romance Cullen.
Long story short. I want Cullen. Rawr.
Welcome! I think I can say that most of us sympathize. ![]()

I have this weird obssessive concern with word count that actually makes me want very little reactivity to much of anything in particular, because I keep thinking that word count spent on reactions that only one class/race/whatever will ever see is word count that will not be put towards the whole romance for everyone. It's a completely mental concern to have, I know, because reactivity is a good thing, that we should have a lot more of overall, but what can I say - I'm coming from a Sebastian romance with my femHawke, where every little word counted and was a tiny precious gem, because there were only a very small handful of them to go around. It's traumatized me, when compared to my mHawke's meaty Fenris romance, and it makes me crave a very wordy, very deep, very lenghty romance with Cullen to make up for it; so when I think "class/race-gated dialogue" I also think "less dialogue overall" and that makes me saaaad.
We need words! More words! All the words! Words and bees for everyone!
tl;dr falling in love with Sebastian has driven me to madness and despair and made me terrified of word counts for life, I need Cullen's relationship arc to be a blabbery saga with ALL THE WORDS!!! to heal my videogame romance wounds. /tragic Scarlett O'Hara pose
I've started to write my story...not bad if I do say so myself, lol! Anyway I saw the trailer and I went back through and read most of the posts....what is this Xbox article that has a lot of people concerned, btw if I may point out Xbox has gotten a lot of stuff wrong before and that includes stuff about DA:I. So take most of their articles with a grain of salt.
I am going to be greatly annoyed if we have to choose between one side or the other, I know lean more towards mages...but...*sighs* I WANT PEACE!

I linked and quoted it earlier in the post:
Here's the full article. This isn't technically new since it was published over a week ago, but a lot of people hadn't seen it yet and still hoped there would be a third option for making peace and recruiting both sides. This was an interview with Cameron Lee, by the way, not a third-party article, so I think we can consider this pretty much off the horse's mouth.
There was also a kind of upsetting maybe-news-maybe-not in the video released earlier today that
