Nice to see the CC, there are a few hairs I'll be happy to use! I think we need to make some sort of SoS signal, many of us are going to get lost in there lol.

You're description of casual fighting pleases me too, I'm a casual player aswell and was a wee bit concerned that it was going to be OTP tricky but you've settled that fear for me.

I loved the look of that outfit your mage was wearing, was that basic starter gear?

But.... you can't actually kill Thrask in Act of Mercy, you can kill the other *******, but Thrask isn't killed off until Act 3, regardless of what you choose.

 

Is Cullen calling you his friend an actual thing? I've played a completely pro-templar Hawke before, but I've never had Cullen call me his friend.

 

He did called my subtly pro-mage warrior Hawke friend, and similarly Hawke got an option that sounds like "so how are you doing old friend?" at act 3

Those videos are great and welcomed, thanks Eric! I haven't seen all Qunari male hairstyles before, it's intresting that hornless qunari male seems to have one extra style hmm. Qunaris can have freckles too, yay! I think I have to bring this info to qunari hair thread :3

Whats with the gating on Cullen?! Human and elves only? So I get that hes a chantry boy who is probably into chantry girls and probably not into dwarves and qunari as a whole for their non-Andrastan beliefs. HOWEVER, the qunari you play are not part of the Qun, and dwarves are surfacers and likely not into 'paragon' system. And besides, the elves you play in DAI are exclusively Dalish, not 'city' elves like in DAO (city and mage origin alike).

So my question is, wouldn't it make more sense to have him gated for human female only? Does this slightly confuse anyone else? Has anyone heard anything on this front?

Honestly, I think it was the fact that they had extra time to make him a romance, but they didn't have time or budget to do the animation for dwarves and qunari. They probably would have made him human-only if not for him showing interest in the DA:O female elf mage as well as the female human mage.

Nobody really knows at this point. You're assuming that his gating is related to being an Andrastian or not which probably it's not the case.

Now I'm just wondering whether I'll keep my mage going for Ice Mage as I initially planned (for headcannon reason, I want my mage to be the cold one, the Ice Queen paragon). The storm tree surely looks great. Inferno & Winter had weirdly not seems to be very powerful compared to Storm...

Oh, I'm out of likes, darn it, but you are my hero! Thank you for showing the hairstyles on a female face and 360, I feel much better about several of them now. It's still pretty limited, but I don't feel like I have a choice of 2 or 3 hairstyles for women before switching to buzz cuts. Sigh, have to leave for meetings, so I'll have to watch the others tonight.

 

And have I mentioned how much I enjoy your voice on your videos?

So...apparently the world is going to crash or whatever today? (ladyinsanity i think said something to that effect?) but I do really want to see that multi-player video without having to see the forum thread titles in the spoiler thread section. Thanks, guys. I am so curious about this game, and I kinda have spoiled myself on some things. But I'm trying not to spoil myself too much... especially when there is so little left until we can finally play the game.

 

I will watch the CC however, because I have seen some bits on YT by now, and I'm curious about it.

Was it someone in this thread that was worried about the male elves being too skinny? Here's a vid, only watched the first...20 seconds of it, but it shows a male elf inquisitor, and I don't think he looks as skinny as all that...watch with fair warning, I only watched the beginning, so I don't know if it has spoilers.

edit: hmm...so, ok, the arms are skinny. but no worse than the women...I guess I was paying more attention to the waist/thighs, which look far more normal. Does that say anything about my character that I pay more attention to the lower anatomy at first glance? XD

Definitely too skinny for male... I like the female elf inquisitor however. It's on the extreme lanky/skinny side but oh well, too skinny's not good either.

 

On a different topic, my PT plannings are completely ruined after reading The Stolen Throne & Asunder. I had initially planned these:

1. F!Mage Trevelyan (romance Cullen)

2. M!Warrior Trevelyan (romance Cassandra)

3. F!Rogue Lavellan (romance Solas or Cullen or Blackwall)

 

But after Stolen Throne, I've just want to give my M!Warrior Trevelyan to Dorian (just LOVE the idea of Julien & Nicolas, so sad but so romantic), and I like the idea of Gay White Knight in Shining Armour for once, not a sarcastic mage or rogue. That means that I'll have to romance Cass on another character. I won't make a male rogue and not a male elf (too lanky). I still want to play both Lavellan & Trevelyan (mage & non mage side), and romance Cassandra. And I absolutely love Dorian (that chess scene gives +1000 000 000 approval point for both Cullen & Dorian)

 

So what do you suggest?

1. F!Rogue Lavellan (Cullen)

2. M!Warrior Trevelyan (Dorian)

3. M!Mage Trevelyan (Cassandra)

 

or just do twice the Warrior...? AAAAARGHHHH!!!

I still think that it's interesting to romance Cullen with a Circle Mage since it'll bring all the Circle Mage vs Templar context (at least headcannon).

 

What's your opinion guys & gals?
