Hey cullenites A little bit off topic here,so the DA:I is coming very soon and I was very curious about your future inquisitors.It would be really nice if you decribe their possible appearence,character and traits.As for me,in my first playthrough I will definitely play as a human female mage and I will try to make her diplomatic and kind and considering the mage/templar conflict,I think I am gonna side with mages.

A good example of the double standard is that Nicki Minaj song where she says "F all you skinny b*tches". I don't know how it went down in America or other countries but In NZ no one batted an eyelid over it and it really annoyed me because if she had used the opposite word to skinny in her lyrics then there would have been no way she would have lived that down.  

 

Well what I have seen people have commented on that but not much. The song where it is, Anaconda (I think..) itself isn't very serious, it's about drug dealers, drug use and big butts. And girls there are pretty skinny themselves, they just have big butts.. In other hand another popular song, All about that bass has got some heat for having similar line. That song is about body acceptance so including people who are underweight that way is bit odd ^^;

 

To keep on topic, I think female Inquisitor is on skinnier side but still in normal weight area ^^

I think so, sadly. So far we've only been told that Gideon Emery is returning -- not Fenris.

They've said Gideon Emery will return, but they haven't said anything about Fenris.

I honestly cannot wait to see everyone's inquisitors, especially some of the ones I know really well by now, like Tamarin or Zhenya

 

My two: Auren Lavellan: male archer, Tempest specialization, long dark hair and blue eyes. Aggressive/stoic/huffy princess inquisitor. And Kael Lavellan: male mage, Rift mage, ginger hair, freckles, brown/amber eyes. Sarcastic/funny/goofy personality.

I am actually on the seventh cloud, the fact that we meet Cullen for the first time on a Battlefield and not on War Table like portrayed on BW's previous gameplay. That's a really great way for first meeting!

My Hawke's that romanced him, was thinking what she can do to him, after she'll take his amour off him to ravish him as she looked at the back of his amour. She had dirty thoughs sometimes likely because she hanged around Isabella too much, when she was in firstly Feledern and then in Kirkwall.

What's with him leaving Hawke? I never thought Fenris would such a thing, being the one adored by everyone, unlike Anders. I was about to do a PT and romance him, out of curiosity if nothing else, and when I heard he leaves Hawke, I changed my mind.

I'm still torn between two options (to be chosen before first PT): Surely romancing Cullen

 

1. Female human mage: Medium long red hair, green eyes, specialized in Knight Enchanter. Overall a fiery temper, but trying to be as diplomatic as she can.

 

2. Female Dalish Archer: very short blond hair, pale blue eyes. Does things as she wants. Sarcastic and smart-mouthed to the point of being very cold. Does not believe one bit in the Maker

Ah, I forgot about that one. Yes, it is a very big contradiction. I don;t like that song either and it annoys that it is so catchy, lol. Yeah, the fem inquisitor is definitely on the slender side but as you said, it isn't on the unhealthy scale and certainly not unrealistic. I would love to be able to play a more muscular warrior like I was able to play in Dragons Dogma but oh well. Lets hope it is something we can see in the future, along with hair for every race!

My first is going to be an elf mage necromancer. She's going to be ginger (as subtle as I can get it) with freckles and green hazel eyes. She's going to be sassy and sarcastic and she is going to revel in the irony of her being known as Andraste's Herald and Cullen is going to fall madly in love with her.

Yea I have trying to think that line but the problem is that.. many are struggling to get weight. They don't think they are fat, they are insecure for being too thin so the lines are just odd (excluding people that have distorted body images). Well I get she didn't mean it badly though ^^

Fenris is the victim of rape, torture, and slavery. Falling in love with Hawke and experiencing intimacy with him/her was too much for him to deal with; it overwhelmed him emotionally, physically, you name it. He was confused, and that's why he left. 

 

He does return though, and when he does, he's in a better place and on the path to healing

He'll leave you at Act 2, but will definitely returning to you if you allow him (he'll be the one asking back in any case). You can choose to forgive him or to break the relationship. In any case after a *special moment* he'll leave Hawke in any case because (IMO) he knows that he's basically a mess and not ready to deal with it yet.

 

If you forgive him later on and ask him on the reason he left, he'll give you one of the best line of his romance.

 

... and you'll get that good bye kiss at the end

I don't think she was necessarily aiming that at those people that struggle with gaining weight or those who have that difficulty. I feel like she was speaking about the archetypal "skinny b word", not skinny people in general.

Hmmm, if not mage, why not try a Human or Qunari Templar? With Qunari, you could run a big softie/gentle giant type.

He started getting some flashbacks of bad memories and wasn't emotionally ready for relationship so he left Hawke for while. Later on the romance continues. I didn't know this first time I romanced him so I started to flirt with Anders and thus couldn't romance him anymore. Anders bullies Fenris for leaving Hawke and Fenris tells him it was hardest thing he has ever done and also warns him not to hurt Hawke.

 

So the actual leaving part is just sad and comes from Fenris being very damaged person. He will return after a while (while for player, poor Hawke had to wait 3 years!).

Memories of his past come flooding back for a few minutes when being intimate with Hawke, and having them return then disappear as suddenly is too much for him, so much so he doesn't want to risk feeling that again, so he leaves. he doesn't physically leave the party you can still pick him though. He does regret it and alls well with them both in act 3 if you choose it to be.

He gives a bunch of BS when he does it, which I totally don't believe. Then he says later that its because he was a coward. But really...I think he's just too scared to "throw away" his independence, or possibly, in his view, his "freedom." Its only later, after the fact, that he realizes that having Hawke in his life is more important, but it takes becoming a "free" man in his mind to come out and admit it, and accept his tie to her. ...or something like that. He's awkward at speaking his mind. Except when he's not like when he says he cant live without you   or when he starts a hate rant on mages...
