So, how many of you guys are still hanging out here? It seems many have gone on blackout. I was thinking on going too. I don't want to get spoiled, but I will miss you guys so much. And I'll miss all the awesomeness from this thread.

Dear gods, even now this thread is moving fast.
As for what I like to use for controls, my keyboard and mouse are my best friends. I've never played DA on the console, but I have tried other games on the console (I used to own an XBox 360, until it got fried in a thunderstorm). And to me, the keyboard and mouse work a lot better.
I don't pause either when I'm playing on the Xbox, I had to when I played it on my laptop, cause that click to target was just not working for me at all, heh. Funny how you get used to playing a game and then play the same game on a different platform and you just play like a total newb, well, at least I did.

The people that are trying to avoid spoilers are hanging out in the Cullen Group now. I guess if you haven't been in yet, you need to send Lola a message, at least she was the one that got me the invite.

It is true. It happened to me, and I have heard it happens to many people. I was used to play on PC, and when I first played on XBox, I was like "I feel like I've never played a game in my life", lol! But then i didn't even get to enjoy the XBox much, because it got fried. And I went back to my PC. I played Dead Space on XBox. I still played it better on PC afterwards. Poor Isaac, always got bitten by those Necromorphs when I played it on XBox.
It is getting lonely here. I would like to join the spoiler free group please

I'm staying, partly because spoilers don't worry me (where my daughter won't even watch CC footage because she wants it to be a surprise), and partly because I don't expect to get to play immediately anyway.
Considering that I expect few people will be able to wait until after the game has been released *everywhere* before they start talking about it, I am not bothered at the prospect of spoilers.

I have watched the CC. I was so curious about the hairstyles, and many other details, so I watched the CC vid. But I didn't watch the others. Didn't watch AngryJoe's vids either. I do want to remain unspoiled (as I have spoiled myself very little) but I can see no danger on this thread... yet...

I went through all the origin stories in DA:O and have finished probably half a dozen PTs (mostly human noble). For DA2, I think I've finished about 10. After the first couple of times through the Fade (the first time being completely frustrating and rage inducing) in the Broken Circle quest, I've found I got much speedier and it doesn't bother me to play through it all the way. I did forget to pick up Wynne before that last battle with the demon since I was speeding through it so quickly the last time, but it still all worked out in the end.
Planning on at least 5 or 6 for DAI, but that would be unique PTs. I'll probably have multiple PTs romancing Cullen and Dorian, so the total will likely be much higher.

I think I have 10 (11?) complete DAO PTs (plus a Dalish who just has to kill the archdemon to be done) and two others in progress. Zero for DA2 - it just didn't look like something I'd play through often enough to be worth it (especially since humans are my least favorite race to play). DAI, I'm not sure. Originally, I'd expected to PT at least 8 or 9 times (I find games I like and stick with them for a year or two at least). But I'm having serious doubts about several of the inquisitors I originally had planned, so I may stop with 4 or 5 PTs and just watch some of the romances on YT. It depends on how much a couple of things they've done with the female Inquisitors bother me once we're in game since one of them is bothering me more with time instead of less (though fortunately it really only affects one race/class/gender combination).

No, I'm not. When I made my EA ID, I thought of my best favorite video games, and took their initials. It's Dead Space, Mass Effect, Dragon Age (in the order I played them). Only after I created my account, I would see the resemblance between my ID and gamermd83's. However, I do love gamermd83's vids. She's so funny and just awesome. I lurk a lot on YT. But I don't know her personally. There's also AbilityDrain and LadyInsanity that also post on YT like she does.

I think what is a spoiler tends to be personal. I actually did watch all the stuff that came out yesterday but don't consider myself all that spoiled (though I'm trying really hard not to say anything that someone else might consider a spoiler). But my younger daughter doesn't even want to look at CC images.

Yeah, it depends on how much of the game each of us wants to see before we get to play it ourselves. I am usually like your daughter actually. But DAI seems far too awesome for me, and I'm too crazy about Cullen, so I wanted to see a little bit of it. But I usually try not to see anything before they release it.
I'm still here for the head count. Spoilers don't bother me, they hype me up even more. But I understand that others don't want to be spoiled, and I respect that. (And again, I'm sorry about the little mistake with the spoiler tags, I had no idea that being subscribed to the thread would send out emails, and that the spoilers would show up even if they are tagged here!)
