I think that many are now turning off their email auto updates and going to the spoiler free group. With Angry Joe yesterday, it proves that spoilers are incoming, and if you are like me, you watched the beginning of his video not expecting many....then trainwrecked yourself unable to press the stop button when we got hit by the Prologue.

 

I don't feel the need to go yet...maybe on the 18th I'll take a wee break until after I've got the game on the 25th. In the meantime Last Court will be out soon, so at least we get a bit of RPG in the DA universe through the Keep link, to keep us going.

Eh, the Angry Joe thing wasn't all that spoilery for me. So I now know for sure how certain things play out and Varric and Solas get involved, but I pretty much already figured they had to be there from very early on. BioWare wasn't going to leave you without a complete party for long. And I don't consider a ton of combat to be spoilery, either.

 

If anything, I'm glad I saw it because I now know I need not dismiss the archer as unplayable like I had in the past two games.

 

For me, the spoilers are the convoc and cut scenes and there was very, very little of that apparent.

I don't mind most of spoilers but there is some things I want to experience by myself I beginning of game, ending of game and romances That angry joe video was too much for me since it spoiled beginning of DAI.. in other hand I haven't seen spoilers that were too much for me.

I have heard of that video and have went out of my way to avoid it. I have heard nothing but complaints that the video has ruined the game already for many. Idk why he would even post that this early?

If people really don't want to see any spoilers at all, they should just abandon the internet at this point lol. You know that there's going to be some troll who just has to post something big where you can see it, and if that's going to ruin things for you, you shouldn't risk it.

C'mon R2, you can't just say that and then not share it. What's this with Andraste's Grace and Cullen, it sounds cute!

... which is technically an episode out of Fool's Errand, altho I don't know if I have room to include this particular episode in that story now. The Andraste's Grace metaphor will be explored more Fool's Errand, so I'm not connecting all the dots just yet.

Yeah, I have to agree with this. If you I don't want to get spoiled I would just stay off Video Game Forums in general, people will spoil you on purpose or on accident.

 

I saw some nasty fights when ME3 came out and people talked about the leaked script and some other people got spoiled on accident. But then what is even funnier is that some people complain about getting spoiled, but they read threads with "spoiler warning" in the title, now that's just asking for it, lol

I havent watched it but that seems a little dramatic imo. A 40 min vid ruined a 200 hr(completist) game? Not likely.

40 minutes of the prologue with most scenes heavily skipped? People are very dramatic, yeah. Now, if it was the ending, I'd understand, but there wasn't much to pull from there in terms of spoilers. Maybe some cinematics you might want to experience personally.

I don't think we need to cast aspersions on how spoiled folks don't want to be. It sounds like showing the Prologue was initially off limits for those with early access, which is why AJ had to take down his video until he got permission. That's not drama. That's just what it is.

It's a bit dramatic to say that it ruined things and had a ton of spoilers, when the only spoilers I saw were that there is a playable prologue (which we knew), that it takes place at the site of the Breach (which we knew) and that to end the threat, we are made the Inquisitor (which we knew)... so it's hardly as if Angry Joe provided us with any new major plot details that haven't already been revealed to us?

I don't know. Again, I didn't find it that spoilery unless you consider everything about the game to be spoiler territory. All I really saw was a bunch of hastily skipped stuff I would call spoilery and a bunch of combat. The only real spoiler was where it was in relation to the timing of the game for me.

 

But I'm a bad person to judge since I will read the last five pages of any book first thing.

DA Fan's was a human and Ashe's was a Elf, iirc, but I didn't see any fem Dwarves knocking about? Dwarves need more love, fer sure!
