Too busy playing a mage in DA2 and restricting myself to spell types found in DAI....on all mages.

I like it in a general way, but like someone else mentioned, the card repetition quickly becomes very boring, as well as being unable to tell for certain which things are going to cost you and which things are looking for a minimum skill or stat level. Plus, I seem to have some hidden negative dice modifier because I will frequently have 5 or 6 failures in a row even though they were all better than 50% odds (I actually started to wonder if it was showing me the wrong odds, frankly). I'm not that big on card-type games anyway, so I'd rather go play something interesting and less frustrating. I'm glad some of us are finding it a distraction, though.

So, for fun (ahem, emphasis again on the FUN), fourth day of Cullen. ![]()
12 Days of Cullen: Day 4
On the Fourth Day of Cullen, my templar gave to me …
Four Orlesian mage hats,

"Fine!" Cullen grumbled and pressed his lips together to hide his amusement.
"But if you tell anyone or anyone sees me trying it on, you’ll be getting your own tea in the mornings."
Three squabbling advisors,
Two Andraste’s Grace,
and a lion helmet just for me!

And I thought only Vivi could pull that off!Alas,it would seem Cullen is embracing his inner Orlesian lately!

Is there a way to restart The Last Court by the way? I played for five minutes before realizing I'd be happier as the other choice. Also, I need to vent, if you guys don't mind. (Cullen-y, but ranty)
Yeah later on you get the option to reset completely. Click spoiler for answer.

I agree the actions do get a little repetitive, but I'm hoping with time they'll sort that out a bit. Its announcement was a nice surprise considering all the hype we get for the big games.

Oh, no argument. And like I said, I'm glad some are enjoying it, it just hasn't changed my personal opinion of card games like this, I'm afraid.

While I'm here I just have another off topic question.. Does anyone know if we'll be able to play DAMP locally? Or does it have to be online with other consoles

Anyway, what I wanted to rant about...
I've decided that if I do purchase DAI, I'll try Cullen first. Which makes me a Cullenite of sorts. Which means that the stereotype of squeeing fangirls just got ten times more annoying. What really bugs me is when the devs get in on the act. (Twitch streams, etc). And some fanart I didn't find funny. I'm quite capable of drooling, but no more irrrrrrationally or stupidly than any other fan. And it's actually possible to have a decent conversation here.

I don't think my Market Day on Last Court is refreshing, I'm sure it must be 24hrs since my last one *grumble* lol I wish there was a timer on it so I could go nuts watching that count down too ![]()

Oh, I understand that entirely. I'm a Cullenite of sorts, but not in the way they tend to stereotype it. But why should anyone disparage someone's love of a fictional character at all? What makes it acceptable to make fun of someone else's behavior just because it's connected to someone or something that you don't happen to share or because they express it differently than you do? I personally don't get many people's obsessions with sports teams, but that doesn't mean I think there's anything wrong with that obsession, expressed within civilized bounds. ![]()

So what pushed you away from Blackwall (iirc he was your number 1 choice before) and into the arms of the Cullen?

He plays chess, and I really liked him in the Skyhold scene in general. And now that we've heard all the guys talk, Cullen seems most my type.So what pushed you away from Blackwall (iirc he was your number 1 choice before) and into the arms of the Cullen?
