Oh that is what you mean. The best relationships I have had or have seen is a relationship that evolved from best friends into lovers. So not much angst but more of an evolution of understanding. 

Very likely, and I agree, but those tend not to make fascinating stories with no hurdles to cross. And angst isn't really the word I'd use for most of the romances I like in games - I just like a little struggle in some form, whether it's with feelings for someone you don't think you should have feelings for or struggling because you think the feelings are one-sided or the Morrigan, Zevran, and Isabela ones where you accept them for who they are and wait to see if they get past their fears. I don't particularly care for drama and drama-kings/queens.

I always figured that "canonically" Hawke was meant to be wearing gloves in that scene (even if your armour was fingerless or not), much like Varric was, so that was why a Mage wasn't immediately killed, as well as why the only one to be affected by the Idol was Bartrand, since he wasn't wearing any?

Different endings like with Alistair? Would that mean that mage Inquisitor would get sad ending and non-mage Inquisitor happy ending with Cullen? I sure don't hope this is another: only noblewoman gets happy ending! since that's boring.

 

Depends on what you consider happy ending. My Dalish warden got a happy ending with Alistair (unhardened) and her staying both in the wardens. I let Anora stay on the throne. That's quite sweet actually on the epilogue bit (ok, hearsay & rumour only but well...).

Depends on what you consider happy ending. My Dalish warden got a happy ending with Alistair (unhardened) and her staying both in the wardens. I let Anora stay on the throne. That's quite sweet actually on the epilogue bit (ok, hearsay & rumour only but well...).

Interestingly, my first Dalish warden is the only one who didn't put him on the throne, with or without Anora, and kept him with her. But like I said earlier, I'm assuming Alistair's going to feel some guilt over dodging his responsibility because of some of Anora's actions.

Surely I do, since my Celeste Amell tried to kiss (and hence scared) our Commander, romanced Leliana, died in the process of saving the world...

Originally, my Amell did. But since I'm importing her as my Esmerelda's world state, and I didn't want to have two super important pro-mage, lesbian mages in one continuity, I decided to switch her around slightly, making her have a solely political union with Alistair while keeping Leliana as her mistress. Still, interested in any possible commetage regarding a gay Amell.
