I'm not really thinking it'll be him, mostly because of his advisor status. Regardless, if I were to mistrust anyone it would be Josie or Viv... for reasons.

BUT if it was,

Spoiler

I think Cole is more likely. In the War Table picture (with all cast like the last supper), he was in the position of Judas.

I think I read a spoiler that makes me think I might know. But it's probably not even a big deal or the ACTUAL traitor is some NPC like Harding or someone.

Speaking of angst, it keeps nagging at the back of my mind...

Andsrate was the leader of uprising (Exalted March, etc).

She joined forces from all over Ferleden (Shartan, etc)

Andraste's husband betrayed her.

We are the Herald of Andraste.

Do you think...I mean the parallels...

They wouldn't...no...Cullen would never....no...he wouldn't...betray us...would he? :o

1) Not married to Cullen.

2) Maferath betrayed Andraste his wife, Cathaire the commander of her armies did not.

Somebody spoke of a treason in Inquisition, although it was labelled as being just a rumor. If this is it, then be ready, Cullenites. The villains might turn our beloved Commander against us.

Cole or Viv is my best guess.

I have been a little suspicious about Viv... but then, we don't know much about her... (still, she looks suspicious to me :D)

The Cole point is a good one. I won't say it's being read into too much, because that's a legit suspicion, but I also doubt it's Cole.

Hm, if you could share via PM, I'd appreciate it. Also I think Harding is high up enough in NPC importance but also low enough to be the traitor. Hm...

No, I hope that he doesn't turn against us, that would suck. Why would Cole betray the Inquisitor? Just because he might be in the Judes postion? That makes little sense in my own thoughs.

I think if there is any betrayal it'll probably will be a companion, seeing as you have 3 of all classes, losing one of them wont hurt as much as losing an Advisor. I also believe if they betray you, it'll come because your approval dropped and they left you, ala Merrill/Anders/Fenris in DA2.

Also, just watched twitch stream.  NO SPOILERS or anything from me...but they did mention Cullen's mustache for Movember.  They said they needed to get some of the art guys to make an awesome beard for him.  In the midst of the stream. the art guy actually texted them to tell them he was already all over that and was working on designs.  it was a cute little interruption i though the Cullenites would want to know, without having to watch the spoilers to hear it!!

Conspiracy theory: since BW had already said that Viv had her hidden agenda, IMO she will NOT betray us (let's see...). It's too obvious and looking at how things going in DA:O I doubt that.

Haha. I think it is cute we are all so suspicious of these new NPCs simply because they are new and unfamiliar. Are we really all that (in game) bitter due to the last two DAs? lol

Y'all do realize we don't have anything at all to base any betrayal on right? We have no evidence that we are going to be betrayed, period.

No, he's not.  In the original Last Supper painting, Judas was the fifth from the left, in fact.  The fellow in the Last Supper painting who's 4th from the left is Peter, and he's perhaps the most loyal of the disciples.

Lol, it does seem like that sometimes doesn't it? I'm pretty open minded about the new kids on the block, I like the sound of them all so far. I suppose there is an small element of once bitten, twice shy but it isn't a major worry for me........yet :D

Just a little bit of something from wikipedia I found interesting, in thinking about the placement of characters in terms of the last supper (as mentioned above).  Note, I am NOT AT ALL a religious scholar and know very little about the Bible.  i just found this kinda neat and wanted to share.

Cullen is in the same position as Batholemew in the last supper painting:  According to wikipedia

"He is described as initially being skeptical about the Messiah coming from Nazareth, saying: "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" (sounds like something Cullen would say about a mage, no?),but nonetheless, follows Philip's (note, Leliana = Phillip in position around the table) invitation. Jesus immediately appraises him as "Here is a man in whom there is no deception."

Kinda neat...
