I keep thinking what if...and one what if that I like thinking about is...what if after all the breaches are secured, the one sacrifice to having them stay closed is ripping all magic from Thedas. Meaning all mages will loose their magic abilities. I like to think how that would affect them. Also, how would that affect the Templars. I could write an entire AU story about it..maybe one day I will LOL

Finished my 6 hours with Inquisition. I'm psyched and can't wait for the whole game on Tuesday. Lol, the make up part of the CC scares me a bit, my dwarf looked like she worked the streets at night to finance the Inquisition =/

I've seen the video on when this song was sung, I can just say that the context is much more heart warming if you discover it the first time along with all other cutscenes that preceeded it.

Wow.. it is??? Didn't watch the stream in case of some serious stuff. It has to be fresh somehow! Someone can PM me what it was about!

Good point. Or, conversely, that everyone in the world gains the use of magic and it levels out the playing field. I assume you're thinking of Sandal's prediction in DAO? (This)

 

Looks like it implies that the default state of the world actually used to be a "Magic: On" setting. I remember something someone in DAO also said about how elves used to be nigh immortal, and it was the advent of mankind that "quickened" elves' lifespans. The people in the Dalish Clan in Origins believed their Keeper had rediscovered the secret to everlasting life, etc. I wonder if that's at all related to what's going on in Inquisition.

 

Funnily enough my impression of what's happening is strangely reminiscent of a darker version of Korra's decision in The Legend of Korra to leave the portal to the Spirit World open because she believed that spirits and people should learn to live in harmony.

Actually without looking at the whole context, the feeling can be much lost. Just listening to the song doesn't reveal much but some people might want to keep that experience really fresh, or might want to get that "AWESOME!" feeling while fully understand the context of when and why the song was sung.

Hmm I have heard that Solas fans are BEEs though? as Balf elf enthuastics XD. Dorian seems to be Dorianmancers. I haven't head about another fannames.

 

Cullenites before just recently has been only DA fanname I have heard of, never heard about Alistair fans fanname or Morrigans etc. I think it's because all Cullen fans no matter the Cullen share same fanname (idk why but seems to be rule!) Nice to hear finally other groups emerging.
