I'm so sad I can't anymore go to tumblr dragon age and cullen tags anymore since they are full of spoilers and I have been spoilered too much already : / At least I have this place left but I wonder if that changes after NA release.

 

I've been thinking the same thing. I have very little will power when it comes to SS & anything tagged "spoiler" (because secretly it whispers to me to look) but I think caution will be thrown to the wind. Even after I get it on the 20th, I'll still be 2 days behind. If I do log on after NA release, I will probably only be looking at the spoiler free group

I've been really amazed and happy with how spoiler free this little group has kept itself.  Even if there's been the occasional slip up it seems like everyone has genuinely tried to be respectful of others.

b] too early to go to bed if you randomly decide to order yummy Indian for dinner because dieting sucks and it won't get there until about 8.15 pm? and

c] should you actually eat Indian in bed while watching bad reality television or does that constitute a graceless fall into depravity from which humanity will never recover and probable grounds for divorce?

I got to play the demo in an event recently and I heard a party banter with Varric, Cassandra and Solas in which his nickname was revealed! I don't remember it word from word but it went something like this:
Varric: So who do you think would win in a fight between Cassandra, Josephine and Leliana?
Cassandra: I'm right here you know!
Solas: So commander Cullen is not in this scenario?
Varric: What, Curly? Naah, they just keep him around to look pretty!

So his nickname seems to be Curly!

Ah!  I think the difference in accent (I would say 'you're-o-peean') made that a bit...impenetrable! 

 

I have to say that the more I see of our Cullen, the more he reminds me of an ex-Household Cavalry officer I once knew.  Initially, things were a bit tense between us because of some of my, er, more radical political beliefs/background.  But after a few free and frank discussions we discovered we quite liked each other!  He was very dry, even when talking about the terrible things he'd seen on active service.  And at work he was all very 'commanding officer', while in private he was a lovely bloke.  Even brought his prized classic car into work to give me a ride in it, because I'd admired it.  Some wanker keyed the paintwork while it was parked outside.  I felt awful about it, but he just shrugged it off.  A proper officer and gentleman, and I think that's how they've written Cullen.
