And that's the real reason in my game for why the Warden disappeared...

Does he honour the commitment you made the Grey Wardens after being forced to join their ranks or risk being shanked, which means he's destined to spend the rest of his days in the thankless task of killing Darkspawn, babysitting everyone under his command and having to deal with political nonsense from the nobility?

Or does he throw his hands up in the air and say "Screw this!", immediately abandon his responsibilities to Ferelden to go AWOL and run away through a magic mirror with his rebellious, kinky, baby-momma?

When you put it like that, it's kinda a no brainer?!

I was just talking about my Morrigan romance on the dwarf thread (which I guess is weird since he's Dalish). Yeah, he was kind of ticked off at his clan for deserting Tamlin and looking like cowards to the humans by running from the Blight, plus their attitude toward human-elf relationships and children, so he was ready to give them the finger. His loyalty to the Wardens (especially since he was forced to it) really only lasted until the Archdemon was dead. He stayed around as Alistair and Anora's chancellor long enough to establish his influence with them, then went looking for Morrigan and his son. I just hope they address the through-the-Eluvian wardens differently than the others in DAI (I want some sign he's still with Morrigan and helping raise the OGB).

Seriously thinking of cancelling my physical copy pre-order and getting it on the PSN. Then I don't have to go and get it... I left it late and was only able to get a regular copy, no deluxe edition - all sold out. I think the deluxe is still on the PSN though... can't decide!

why would they do something like that I mean it's a regular type of store you frequent? For me it is a regular store so I get no promblems from my bank.

I just wanted to say you guys I really would not do that. I bought DAO and DA2 from Origins and there is a huge problem that I have had with the game for over a year now. Please think twice before canceling your hard copy out of convinence sake. This time I was smart and got the hard copy and because I care about my fellow cullinites I dont want to see any of you go through the frustration of what I am STILL going through with Origins.

I always wished that Origins had addressed the fact that Duncan marches the Dalish Warden to Ostagar while they're Tainted, then puts them through a whole mess of nonsense in the Korcari Wilds before they're allowed to go through the Joining to cure them. It's not like they're in danger of dropping dead or turning into a ghoul at any moment... oh wait?

That and the Dwarven Noble being unable to do anything to reclaim their birthright and take the throne due to being a Warden, when you did all the work to plonk Bhelen or Harrowmont on there, and you're all set to put Alistair on the throne despite the same Warden rules applying to him, but in comparison, his claim to his throne is far less legitimate than the Dwarven Nobles to the Dwarven throne?

As for the Human Noble, Duncan basically twists your father's arm to recruit you and risks both the heirs to Highever getting killed at either Ostagar or through the Joining, which would let Howe take control of your ancestral home, simply to gain one Warden.

I always felt that those three Origins and the least reasons to put up with being a Warden once all was said and done with the Blight. And if they'd romanced Morrigan, that wanting to throw in the towel and just leave to be with their lover and their child, would definitely be a far more appealing prospect.

But yeah, I hope that DAI will address the Wardens who went through the Eluvians with Morrigan, especially to clear up the thing from DA2 that suggests they were back in Denerim several years later?

Just putting it out there that I've completely moved to digital since 2011/12 and have had nothing but good experiences with Origin in all this time purchasing from them. As unfortunate as it is that you're having recurrent problems with it, this isn't a universal experience.

Have you contacted their support over live chat? Origin has the best customer support service in gaming clients out there, they're fast, polite, and usually throw you a little bonus as apology for your trouble. My BF actually got a free copy of Inquisition on his account as a courtesy for some trouble he had with Titanfall at launch that wasn't even Origin's fault in the end.

Wardens are willing to do anything to win against the Blight. I understand it, but I don't like it. Duncan went too far in a few Origins, and in others I was grateful to him for saving my Warden. They are a very very grey organization - and for this I am interested in what Blackwall has to say about it all. He's a recruiter, and sees potential even in bandits; of course, he doesn't represent every Warden out there, but I wonder if his characteristics as a loner and job as a recruiter will give him a much more different perspective than Alistair or Anders.

Some sort of weird random thing BUT for pretty much the same price and a little bit of a wait more and no having to worry about how fast or slow you internet is to dl the file, why wouldn't you want the hard copy in you hand anyways?

The game isn't on the disc though Synd, I'll try and find the link for you, there is still a large DL required (maybe not full game but still a lot). I have the worst internet connection ever, so always avoided digital anythings but even I ended up opting to buy through Origins, the pre-load gives me half a chance of being able to play at launch.

Are there any extras that come with the physical copy? Will the game download any quicker with the CD? Does the physical CD copy still need to link-up with an origin account?

There is no difference between the physical and digital copies.

Depends on your internet speed.

You are installing via Origin even with the discs, so yes.

Personally, I moved to digital because I just don't have the physical space to collect game disks anymore. Between mine and my boyfriend's Origin, Steam, GOG, Xbox and Playstation libraries we have hundreds of games, and just no room to pile up hundreds of disks everywhere. Same reason we moved to digital comics too - it's unfeaseable to collect hundreds of paper comics in boxes when we can have thousands inside a Kindle.

I totally get the appeal of physical disks, there's nothing quite like the feeling of holding a good book or game or comic or CD in your hands. But in practical terms, it was either our media collections or our dogs taking space in the flat. ;)

I really hated Duncan when I first started playing DA and I hated being Grey Warden as well. I was actually happy when he died ^^; I have mellowed down my opinion lot of him during years but he definitely is not my favorite. I don't really like the whole policy of "no help without profit to us!" -attitude that GW's seem to have, well except hero of the Ferelden who is supposed to help everyone around Ferelden ^^;

I do hear that. There are certain draw backs that come with disks. One fell of my shelf and was stepped on *boo face*

Sorry about the mess of my previous post :( that was a direct copy/paste from the answer in the thread, it didn't format so well lol. The link above is direct to the thread that Derek French responds in. Although it is in Scuttlebutt(spoilers) it's not a spoilery topic :).
