What is your elaborate meal? I am dieting so when ever anyone mentions food I need all the details so I can live vicariously through them.

Well...I live on crap food, so this is elaborate for me.
Roasted salmon with roasted vegetables and homemade dill sauce, steamed asparagus, and some wacky cake that is like gooey and full of butter and has pineapple in it (waiting on recipe from a friend). And I am making my own pepper vodka for after! My kitchen has like 1 square foot of space to prepare food, so it will be a daunting task to make all of this, but it will give me something to do instead of watching the load screen!! Plus, it will make sure my boyfriend is full and happy so I can spend 18 straight hours playing the game without giving him any attention!
But he is like gorgeous! She might not compare. :0
She doesn't have to compare! She's a queen and he should recognize that!
Wish my GameStop people were like this. I went in to finish paying off my pre-order last weekend and the girl there was like gushing about a new mario game...I was like girl Cullen or Mario I am so going with Cullen.
I wish my gamestop had better people working there, too. The last time I went to a Gamestop the guy working there was an arse. He had the nerve to jokingly ask me if I was interested in some Disney Princess game that just came out while he was ringing up my purchase at the counter. Cause I'm a girl? I tend to take things in stride but in hindsight I really should have reported him to the manager or something, lol.
Anyways, I figure I'd ask here - does anyone have any clear screenshots/concept art of Inquisition soldiers in uniform? I specifically need to know how they look from the front. I was hoping to add rows of soldiers at attention behind Cullen in my painting but I can't for the life of me find proper references. I tried taking screenies during some of the scenes myself but most of the time they're moving too much for me to get what I need. I suppose I could just wait until the game's released, but... >_>
Edit: Whooyay nevermind, I was directed to some artwork *_*
When I receive my copy of @dragonage I'm going to need some serious #Cullenite assistance with how to play #DAI

I wonder if he will try to romance himself? That could be...really weird... ![]()

That sounds so yummy! I usually do everything around the house so I have decided that I am quitting my diet for the weekend and demanding that my partner cater to my every takeout order. I think the fact that I am going to be eating like crap all weekend is making me even more excited for the game! My life is so sad, lol.

Yes, our local one is mostly staffed by rude, young guys (I didn't even try to explain I was looking for something for myself, sigh). I've never bought anything there for that reason and have only been in twice. My oldest daughter's had...more heated encounters (though her best moments involve some condescending idiot trying to redirect her when shopping for computer parts because obviously she couldn't be shopping to do her own computer hardware work).

Oh, dear, I hope people are kind to him. And I'm pretty certain he won't want to romance Cullen (if nothing else, he already knows how that whole story goes).

Oh...what a bummer. Our gamestop is filled with really chatty people who love gaming. I always feel like I am stepping in amongst my brethren when I go there. My friends gave me crap for spending more on the game by getting it from them, but I just like them so much!
Just came back from the mall and stopped by gamestop. Ran in, asked the guy to verify my preorder would be ready to go at mindight, etc. Then, I started gushing about how I'm gonna wear my Cullen tee to pick up the game and then I had this elaborate meal planned because I NEED something to do while the game downloads, and I think I was hobbit-clapping the whole time because I tend to get really excited and act like a little kid and ramble uncontrollably when I am happy. After a few minutes of just gushing to this gamestop guy, I finally realized that he was politely waiting for me to get the hell out of his way so he could help the people behind me. So I apologized and meekly moved along, but before I left, he called out "Cullen...he's like the new Alistair, right?". I gave a big old nerd smile and a thumbs up, which he returned.
Ahhhh...I love how the Blight brings people together.
Sounds like a really cool shop, they'd probably have to chuck me out at closing time if I got started yakking about DA. We don't have any game stores anywhere close, as in not in at least 75 mile radius lol, teh internet ordering system is all fine and dandy but unfortunately it has no interest in talking to me about my games ![]()

This is not a woman friendly area, at least if you're treading into anything viewed as male related. Though there are exceptions. When my oldest daughter and her friends were visiting me once, we went out to eat with at least three people wearing gaming-related t-shirts. The young guy seating us just stared at the t-shirts, then asked in an stunned voice if they actually played ME and WoW. When we informed him that everyone there, including all five women (two of us over 45) were gamers, he practically gushed that he never met any women in this area who gamed. He kept coming to our table to talk gaming off and on (it was a very quiet night). It's a good thing that was his response actually, I thought for a moment he was staring at my daughter's boobs a little too openly and I was about to go MAMA on him. ![]()

Most of my husbands friends and family don't know I am a gamer. When the few that have found out I am they started gushing at my husband to never let me go because its hard to find a gamer girl. Sometimes I think he wishes I was not as into games as I am since he got me started on them because I can get so lost and forget that I have things that need to get done. He already sighed yesterday when he realized DAI is about to be here
Guess I will have to schedule some time with him as well as Cullen
O forget it lol I cant figure out how to send a twitter over here but they are wanting pics of inquisitors from the early access if yall wanna tweet them your pics

Fortunately, most people I work with know I love computers so they aren't surprised at the computer gaming, and my friends know I worked in a game store for years (my daughters tell people they grew up in a game store
). Oddly, even my parents got into Wii type games, so though the older members of my family don't understand the kind of games I play, they aren't as weirded out as they used to be.
I FINALLY got the keep to synch with my DAI trial. Thus, lo and behold, my main Quizzy was born! I love her cuz she's such a sweet heart that wants to help everyone and make everyone smile. I purposefully made her to look imperfect because, honestly, perfectly proportioned characters just isn't my thing. She's flawed, but that's not anything she can't make up for with her bright and loving personality. (Under spoilers so I don't take up the whole page)
Spoiler
EDIT: Don't worry, her eyebrows aren't shaped like that, she just has a very confused look on her face cuz this was from the very first cutscene of the story.
that...is like...the most adorable face I have ever seen. flaws? what flaws? that's perfection! lol, forgive me, I'm drooling over your inquisitor...

My mom still thinks I am strange for being a gamer. My dad since retiring has started gaming a lot but mostly the flight and tank war type games but he is more willing to let me talk to him about my games. Thankfully my kids are tiny gamers
They have been playing games for so long now its kind of cute. i was actually shocked when our pediatrician told me to keep letting my oldest play because using the controller for console games help with coordination. Boom take that one MOM...yeah she was with me that day and I grinned like an idiot.

I've got a boston creme pie in my fridge that I eat with a fork straight from the tin. It's my "birthday cake" that I'm still eating. Nothing like not having to wash plates ![]()
I am thinking about calling in to work on Tuesday. I am already sick, have been fighting off a chest cold for about 7 weeks really need to go to the doctor but thinking of pushing it off till Monday evening so I can have a Cullen day on Tuesday with the husband at work and kids in school.......so so tempting. The things I will do to get a perfect 1st time Cullen experience.
So how many of you are actually on twitter? I have been thinking about making an account for awhile now but I didn't want to be alone.

I've loved all sorts of different games since I was a young child and it's just really strange when guys tell me they're surprised I play games, or worse, act like I'm into games because I want attention. Growing up, all the kids around me both male and female played the same games and it wasn't until I was maybe in my teens that I started hearing things about gaming being only for boys. My dad used to play the old Commander Keen games for me as a kid at my request because I loved them but lacked the fine motor skills to not die. Eventually I began to expect more out of my games and so turned to RPGs, and then to games like Skyrim and Mass Effect which both have an excellent balance of action and storyline that I need to enjoy myself.
The friends I play Mass Effect Multiplayer with are all ladies, most of the game graphic designers and fans I know on Tumblr are ladies...it's honestly weirder for me to think of games as a guy only thing when considering the reality of my everyday experience. My parents use the excuse that games are "for kids" but not that they're "for boys" to try to get me to stop playing, LOL. In the end, I just don't want to be treated differently as a girl and I just wish everyone could get along and talk about their favorite series without all the dark assumptions of hidden agendas and stuff xP
So how many of you are actually on twitter? I have been thinking about making an account for awhile now but I didn't want to be alone.
