I am quite beside myself now because I love cullen's look at that you have a past and intensity has been building since the first game but I am so in love with FPj's voice. I think the Bull is kind of creepy looking but I think to myself, blow out the candle and just let the man talk.

I don't know any female gamer's either which is why I love the fact I found this thread. If I hadn't I still would have been alone. I don't even bother talking to my friends about it. They just don't understand why I am into gaming, like they seem to think it isn't a "girl" thing to do.
I have grew up by playing games, started at age 5 I believe and I have always had friends both female and male who play games. I have just recently on forums on other stuff found out that it's supposed to be odd for girls to play ^^;
I feel like it's lot of male players who themselves have excluded women and then act like women don't play. Some act like women are trying to take over their hobby but in reality women have always been here as gamers. Some male players just like to ignore these women, look them as inferiors and harass them out of sight which means playing alone on their home instead of going on mic in online games and speaking up in male dominated forums.
I'm actually glad that this BW forum exist where the norm aren't being straight male gamer, everyone is individual here and different which is nice so I don't have to feel like I'm inferior for being woman and my opinion is less valuable.
This will sound crazy, but there are times when I just imagine that Cullen walks out of the game and into real life, with his Inquisition armor, sword, and everything, and he just knows that I'm the one that's behind his female mage warden, I'm behind his female Hawke, and I'm behind his female Inquisitor that he falls in love with. And he's just so damn stunning and gentlemanly, and everything I've ever dreamed of, that I lose my breath and feel like I'm going to faint by just having him stand next to me.

My husband likes to play Counterstrike, in fact he still plays it from time to time. I remember one time he was on a team, and there was this one shooter on his team that was just taking out all the other shooters on the opposite team, and everyone on my husband's team was like, "Wow dude, you're awesome!" and giving the shooter props. Then the shooter spoke on the mic a few rounds later, and everyone was just dumbfounded that it was a girl, and that she was a better shooter than they were. But I think she only said something to say goodbye, because she was logging off. So no one could say anything mean to her, thank god. But, I think she secretly wanted to keep her identity hidden so she could prove herself without being judged or hassled, and then went "BOOM!" at the end of it. Like drop the mic and walk off the stage kind of thing.

Most of my husbands friends and family don't know I am a gamer. When the few that have found out I am they started gushing at my husband to never let me go because its hard to find a gamer girl. Sometimes I think he wishes I was not as into games as I am since he got me started on them because I can get so lost and forget that I have things that need to get done. ahhhh.... first bull and his bisexuality, now transgendered people... i like the diversity (and the fact that he's voiced by jen! ;u; ), but i want to laugh when i think about all those "overly manly" homophobic cis males, trololo xD (especially when i know, that people in my country are still majorly prejudiced :/)
