I went looking for spoilers. One I wish I hadn't found. I've also set up my world state. And changed my mind on romance again. The main thing I took from the vids was that qunari are awesome so no Cullen for me. It looks like I'll have yet another lesbian PC. I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with me.

Why wonder if something's wrong, instead of finding the right niche?

 

I'm pretty certain I'm now starting with my Dalish warrior, Derzka, and letting the romance find her for once, instead of deciding in advance.

The number of times I've had to preface my discussion of romance with "I'm straight but..." borders on the hilarious. I like BW woman more than BW men, for whatever reason. And the other big thing I took from the vids was that Josephine is my new for person...

I know there are going to be a huge influx of people and I know the rest of you will be wanting to talk about your romance with Cullen and since I don't want any spoilers on that so I think it is time for me to go. I hate the fact that they don't have a global release date. I am going to miss you all so much! This is the first time I have followed the progress of game while being made and I couldn't think of a better group of people to do it with. I will probably stick around for today but I thought I would take the opportunity now to say enjoy your time with Cullen and I can't wait to gush about his romance with you all.

I know what you mean. If I could have romanced Morrigan with a female warden, Alistair would have been a lonely man. And if I'd played DA2, Isabella would have been my choice (except for perhaps once through with Fenris and Merrill each.)

I will say to everyone...please think of avoiding the Scuttlebutt (spoiler) section, a fair amount of so called spoilers there are BS. Don't get wound up about crud that someone has made up, or has reposted from Tumblr/reddit/twitter with no evidence.

DAI looks better on PS3 than on XBOX360 at least. Poor XBOX players (and PC players with mininum settings). The hair and beard is less shiny at least. Hopefully you can move mini-map and character icons closer to edges of the screen since they are kinda in the way at least in that PS3 video.

 

I think I can manage but very pretty it won't be. I was excepting for something more

Is there any truth to this? If so, here's 1 cullenite that's dying to meet the Commander ASAP...

Yup, we're allowed to preload it on Origin (along with the extras such as the soundtrack if you purchased the Digital Deluxe version). It took me around half a day to download it all due to my terrible connection but hopefully I'll be able to play it as soon as it hits midnight on the 18th

It releases on the 21st here but since I live a 2 hour drive form the nearest EB Games store I opted to get it delivered. I just assumed it would be here on release day but they said about a month ago that my order will get processed within 4 working days of release and since it is released on a Friday I have no idea when I will be getting it.

Wow, what was the spoiler? Can you please PM it to me? (I don't mind spoilers. I've read so many spoilers, I probably already know this one. I just don't know which one it is.)

 

I... don't feel comfortable spreading this around, even over PM, because the guy could easily have made it up on spot just to to spite me over a disagreement there, and I don't wanna be responsible for spreading false rumours.(*) Leaving it as vague as possible, this is all I'll say about it:

Be wary of siding your Inquisition with the faction opposite to the one you sided with in DA2.

 

If there's any truth to it, people in the spoilers group or following spoilers threads will immediately know what this is about (and please please don't confirm or deny anything here). If not, better this dies here and doesn't go much further.

 

(*) Maker knows I'm still, to this day, dealing with that one Cullen de Chalons stupid joke that one time, that suddenly became a huge spoiler on tumblr and is still getting passed around in other forums even now.
