Yup, we're allowed to preload it on Origin (along with the extras such as the soundtrack if you purchased the Digital Deluxe version). It took me around half a day to download it all due to my terrible connection but hopefully I'll be able to play it as soon as it hits midnight on the 18th

Yes, I love Cullen since DA:O and am very excited for him to be romanceable this time around on DA:I. I've preordered the game for XBOX360, but now upon reading some reviews, I realize I should probably wait for me to get PS4 or XBox One. ::sigh:: or get it in PC form. Grrrr.

I went looking for spoilers. One I wish I hadn't found. I've also set up my world state. And changed my mind on romance again. The main thing I took from the vids was that qunari are awesome so no Cullen for me. It looks like I'll have yet another lesbian PC. I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with me.

I'm a lesbian and I always romance male characters in dragon age games, so no, theres nothing wrong with you   unless theres something wrong with me... lol, games are games, and don't necessarily reflect reality.

 

Also, my two cents on the spoiler embargo conversation...I think it would be helpful if whoever ends up with the top page post would add a quick "this is how you post a spoiler tag" so its the first thing a newcomer sees upon opening the thread. This may prevent accidental end-game/romance spoilers from those who honestly want to talk about it, and it will also encourage those newcomers who may have refrained from posting at all due to not knowing how much they can say. Although, I can see how this may be troublesome and hard to do...which is why its a suggestion to think about and discard/improve. ...maybe putting it in a few signatures? I'm going to do that now...once I figure out how to make a signature...

LOL I think you might be zoning in on my brainwaves! I was thinking of suggesting the same. It probably can't hurt for the next week or so!  Something short and sweet like:

 

Please spoiler tag your significant spoilers (particularly major story arc or ending) with spoiler tags as so (removing the *):  [*spoiler] insert your message here [/*spoiler]

This is a good question. I would think that talking about Cullen's romance mechanics should be totally allowed, but maybe still encourage spoiler tags for revealing bits? That easily could be the key thing folks are asking about!

 

When I played yesterday on XBone  some of the hairs were really shiny even on  that, like specially the black hair and the while and some of the lighter blondes... so yea it might be a bug that they might fix with the 1st day patch hopefully

Total non-sequitor: I always read that in my head as "X Bone." Like you got boned by Xbox. LOL It takes me a moment to figure out what it's supposed to be.

Yes, it has. MLaidlaw confirmed that it was never tracked in DA2, making it confusing and nothing but headcanon. Which is a shame, since it seems like a nice bit of headcanon to have reflected in DA:I. Alas, no.

I've worked it out as approximately 62 hours until I get DAI now.  It feels like an enormous ocean of time between me and all the awesome.  I feel unhappy about it but confusingly also guilty about feeling unhappy because it's only a couple of days and we've waited years for this.    I wonder if I can just sit here in my chair for 62 hours pressing refresh on Origin - that sounds productive.

I mostly lurk, but I just want to say how wonderful this thread and the people are. I've been fighting through a chronic illness, unable to work, and reading this thread can always get a laugh or a smile. You can't know how much that helps.

I've been examining pics of Cullen (for science) and I'm becoming certain that the cloth wrapped around him is actually his templer skirts lifted up and pinned at his shoulders. Does this mean all the Templars wear tight pants under their skirts?

Closing in on 24 hours here. Thankfully, I have to work tomorrow, so that will shorten the time some. Unfortunately, I only work as a proofreader which is a half-braindead job meaning time will be dragging. Then I have to get through the rest of the day until the game unlocks just before midnight.

 

But I'm downloaded with a world state uploaded and ready to go ... now I just need to have the game unlock ...

I... don't feel comfortable spreading this around, even over PM, because the guy could easily have made it up on spot just to to spite me over a disagreement there, and I don't wanna be responsible for spreading false rumours.(*) Leaving it as vague as possible, this is all I'll say about it:

Be wary of siding your Inquisition with the faction opposite to the one you sided with in DA2.

 

If there's any truth to it, people in the spoilers group or following spoilers threads will immediately know what this is about (and please please don't confirm or deny anything here). If not, better this dies here and doesn't go much further.

 

(*) Maker knows I'm still, to this day, dealing with that one Cullen de Chalons stupid joke that one time, that suddenly became a huge spoiler on tumblr and is still getting passed around in other forums even now.
